I'm about to hurl myself out the window after reading @OCCityBoy2's comment. Luckily I'm on the first floor of spacious home. Buck up my friend. We're on HX and while we can't buy love or friendship, we can rent a reasonable facsimile 30 to 60 minutes at a time.
And OP, try doing things you'd never imagine yourself doing to get your adrenaline going and to meet new people... learn to fly, surf, etc.
