Search “burner “ on the App Store for iOS. I use burner phone app. Not free but decent. Better than using your actual cell #.

+1 on Burner app, more cost effective at a yearly subscription of $44.99 than another line/phone.

Metro pcs .. no need to enter any real info (I always pretend Like I lost my ID and they day it's ok and will still let you purchase) and they have great phones
Simple mobile is my fave. Purchase a phone in best buy or target, and you Set everything up online so you can enter whatever info you want and use refill cards to purchase more monthly data .. discreet and easy
As for the type of phone that's all up to you. You can also take any unlocked phone and use their Sim cards as well
I have a Samsung a13 for sale. Amazing phone but I ended up getting another iPhone 13
