I will say, aside from getting the initial vaccine out to people, that Biden has been unexpectedly bad when it comes to COVID. There hasn't been the sense of urgency we had under Trump & Warp Speed to update the vaccines & monoclonal antibodies. Very slow at getting Paxlovid and other therapeutics out. No plan to improve air inside public buildings or use UV light to kill SARS-2 to prevent spread without need for mandates. Could the Biden administration have even done Warp Speed as quickly as the Trump administration? Not sure.
|

"Biden has been unexpectedly bad"
unexpectedly bad? Biden has been a train wreck for his whole political career!!!
We said he has bad foreign and domestic policies, We said gas would hit $6 a gallon.
nr, what good has biden done for the American people?
|
|
He has not tried to overthrow the republic. It is a low bar but I will take it.

I'm glad we have him. He's not perfect but he's got a big mess to clean up, and huge challenges that nobody expected.
He has helped provide some sanity, compassion and normalcy to the shit show that was the Trump administration, and the fraudulent attempts that Trump made to overthrow the government thanks to Trump's idiot and corrupt followers.
He's not Trump. Fuck Trump. Fuck most of the Republican lawmakers who enabled Trump to fuck things up, and attempted to overthrow the government, promote deviciveness, promote racism, promote anti-semitism, promote Qanon, promote anti-vaxxing and anti-vaxxing... and on, and on.
Enough said.

"Could the Biden administration have even done Warp Speed as quickly as the Trump administration? Not sure."
I don't think the question is a could they have the question is would they have. Nothing prevents them from making the right decisions on any of the myriad of issues they have gotten wrong...they just chose to do things that have no outcome that provides the US any sense that they are governing for the betterment of us.
This whole gas crisis is a farce... we can do everything about energy cleaner and cheaper... they just don't want to.
They could have made better decisions about Afghanistan withdrawal, they just didn't care how things looked.
They could have postured better about Ukraine and Taiwan... now that he trying to posture about Taiwan China doesn't take it seriously .... why would they.
You can't have a peaceful world without being prepared to defend peace ... this admin is not prepared to hold a press conference. Why should we expect that he would do anything that is in the best interest of the country when their mission is to elevate every other country at our expense.

OMG..... I was just thinking today that there are two kinds of people that voted for Biden. (1) the group that actually thinks he can or will do a good job. (2) the group that hated Trump so bad (got all of their info from MSM) that anyone was better than Trump.
I understand those in group 2. Trump was / is a narcissist blowhard that simply did not know how to act presidential. Most in group 2 are now realizing that Trump was WAY better than the shit show we now have as POTUS.
Then there are those poor deranged souls that believe in their gut that Biden has a clue and is doing a good job. Anyone in group 1 seriously needs help.
|
|
Not even half way through the blog and people talking about the last President...
How can you go on and on citing pure shit about how "Biden inherited a mess" and not cite a single specific issue?
Does that kind of logical argument work for you at home or at work? You must hang out with some dumb people.
Biden has fucked up more shit of his own doing than any other President ever. How does anyone not know that?
But hey, let's hear more about Orange man...
|
|
And there's no way that Biden's administration could figure out how to do anything at 'warp speed' without tripping over themselves trying to milk the money pot and create a disaster that they fuck up worse trying to fix.
|
|
I'm republican, but 4 more years of Mussolini just wasn't gonna happen. Trump fucked it up for a lot of folks.
|
|
^ I'm a republican and any more years of the same old Beltway trash we have seen is unacceptable and will only decrease the velocity at which we are circling the toilet.

There is something worse than being Joe
You could be Hunter
Last good president we had in my lifetime was Ike
Although Truman was ok
Anybody willing to nuke a city is alright in my book
Seems as though the last 2 have been a real shit sandwich

I'm a pragmatic centrist so no real home politically right now but will offer that Biden got a $1 trillion bipartisan infrastructure bill done. Something that had eluded previous administrations (remember the never ending promise of an "Infrastructure week"?) and includes significant funding to start helping protect the country against the affects of climate change.
The bill includes $50 billion for climate resilience and weatherization, and increases funding for FEMA and the Army Corps of Engineers programs that help reduce flood risk and damage. NOAA will also receive additional funding for wildfire modelling and forecasting. Other environmental and climate-related investments include $65 billion for clean energy and grid-related investments, $7.5 billion to build a national network of charging stations for electric vehicles, $55 billion to expand access to clean drinking water & $21 billion to clean up Superfund and brownfield sites and cap orphaned oil and gas wells (major sources of methane leaks).
It's not enough but a massive step forward from the previous administrations approach to climate resilience and infrastructure.
Let's hope the choices next time are significantly better than they were last time and we can have a President that more than 40% of us can be proud of.
|
|
Climate resilience?
Seriously?
Total and utter complete waste of money
Forgot for just a moment that this is the Federal government
They will waste most of the money on hiring more bureaucracy
Sitting around pushing paper and striking for higher pay/benefits
Whatever money is left over will be wasted on no-bid contracts for cronies
Another trillion up in smoke
What the fuck is it that makes some of you think the government can solve anything?
|
|
If anyone owns a diesel that require DEF, You might want to start stocking up on it...
Just sayin...

"Something that had eluded previous administrations (remember the never ending promise of an "Infrastructure week"?) "
When the people you are negotiating with would rather let everything fall apart if they don't have the Presidency you get exactly that. Dems and Washington Insider Republicans fucked over any attempt by the previous administration to do anything on infrastructure because they didn't want him to have that as a win.
You can say anything you want ... he is boorish ...his a big orange fool ... anything. But that trillion dollar package had not near enough infrastructure and way too much porkfrastructure for causes that only they champion.
It's a fool that cannot accept what is plain as day. Washington doesn't give 2 fucks about doing anything for anyone other than themselves. And you think they are doing something for infrastructure and in turn us .... I just have to chuckle at your naivete ... but I think it's purposefule and that makes me sad.
|
|
Fucking climate resilience..... anything we are doing now for "climate resilience" that doesn't give serious consideration of nuclear energy is just fucking stupid.....there's no way right now that you can say clean energy and mean it using what they are pushing now. There's is nothing green about our current green energy push and you all know it and just bloviate about how great this is ..... you are only fooling yourself.
|
|
Biden isn't the problem, this is all by design.
If you haven't figured it out by now, it's managed decline.
When did the mass homelessness started? Streets in major US cities look like a 3rd world country.
Climate change, Green New Deal are de-growth movements.
No energy = Nothing gets powered, transported, harvested or grown.
You will own nothing and you will be happy!

What the fuck is it that makes some of you think the government can solve anything?
Goebbels I am starting to suspect you are a closet masochist who gets off on being humiliated.
Setting aside wars which is too obvious to bare mentioning, there are no shortage of historical examples of government solving problems. That is pretty much what it does however sluggishly and unsatisfactorily to all parties involved. From Henry Clays American System which established federal infrastructure, Hamiltons financial plan which payed off our debts and secured our banking system, Teddy Roosevelt reforming rampant capitalism with trust busting, FDR saving capitalism from itself with the New Deal, Ike ending segregation, Johnson giving worthless shits like you Medicare, Reagan ending stagflation and toppling Stalinism, Obama expanding healthcare to 30 million more Americans and counting.
You never know what you are talking about, you never understand what you are angry about, you never care about anything but your own delusions of infallible grace like a medieval pope. It is pathetic.

Vs. the orangutan, Biden has followed the science regarding covid. It hasn't been perfect, but if we didn't have a lying bastard refuse early testing so the CDC could have gotten accurate numbers and if he would have encouraged early wearing of masks, we could have saved half a million people. But I guess you forgot about that. I'm not friends with Putin. The orangutan was. That is a change for the better. So is telling China there are lines not to be crossed. Biden was handed a shitty situation. Unemployed is down. Did you think interest rates were going to be next to zero forever? I am old enough to have paid over 12.5% for a 30 year fixed mortgage. You have to remember the Republican party is offering nothing. No plans or ideas other than the prior election was a fraud except the votes that got them elected.
|
|
We should be thankful that we have people around that constantly remind us that it could be worse.... they could be in charge!!
You want to talk about how bad a job Trump did on Covid compared to Biden masks versus no masks blah blah... the numbers don't support your supposition that things were better with Biden. More infections and everything else... im not saying it was anyone's fault... im saying neither had an effect.
You remember when interest rates were 12% ... so do I and I also remember the cause.... we spent like drunken sailors and too much money was out there and we had runaway inflation..... now, I'm not saying any admin in the last 40 years hasn't spent a lot of money but in just 1 year this admin has COUPLED with reversing economic policies that were favorable to the US. You want to know what else suffers during inflation? The job market ....anything that can be done in a cheaper labor market will be done there. Wel already have low labor participation but you have your head in the sand about that too so I'm not going to bother explaining.
The only thing you care about is Trump is out ... fine just be honest about that cus the facts and numbers don't support your argument at all..

I have seen over and over again throughout the years the complaints of a new president's first year in office as being a failure over the previous president (ALWAYS of the opposing party). What people fail to recognize is that government doesn't move at warp speed. If anything, it moves more like a turtle, and incoming president's are often left with cleaning up the mess of the previous administration that had 4 or more years to do their damage. Blaming the pullback of the stock market on solely on Biden is short-sighted; the big run up of the stock market during Trump was a combination of some of his policies (kudos to him for that), but it was equally due to the Fed's ridiculously low interest rates - which were necessary because of the monumental disruption caused by COVID - which was clearly a failing policy on the part of Trump. Biden is simply inheriting the mess that still exists from that. We also have the war in Ukraine that has significantly impacted the stock market and caused a sharp increase in inflation that the Fed has to react to (that is their main purpose). Anybody who thinks that Trump did not have a hand in emboldening Putin to invade Ukraine is simply drinking the cool-aid.
I am a registered independent, because I prefer to think for myself, not rely on YouTuber's, podcast "professionals", or conspiracy theorists to formulate my opinions. I have always thought that we needed more business people running this country instead of professional politicians. I really wanted Ross Perot to win. And I was glad, at least at the beginning, that Trump had won. But now that Trump has made American politics the laughing stock of the world I am regretting my decision. And since his obvious attempt to overthrow the government, I am rebranding him as the worst president this country has ever had, and I hope ever will have!
What we see in America today is simply the inability for people to admit that they were wrong, or even could be wrong. Hence, the crazy and dangerous political partisanship that prevails. The fact that we have such a large dissenting voice against the present administration's actions only further emboldens our enemies to defy us because they see us as distracted by domestic events. The war in Ukraine is the best example. The impending war with China (over Taiwan), will be next if we don't start showing some cohesiveness.
In essence, we need to get over it (the 2020 elections) and move forward. Quit bickering and back stabbing! Show some strength! If we don't show confidence in our country and its leadership, then why should anyone else in the world?
I did not vote for Biden, but he IS the president of the United States of America, and I accept that. If I really don't like what his policies have done in his 4 years as president then I will vote for someone else next time. If I REALLY don't like what he as done in 4 years then I will volunteer for the campaign of the person running against him. But what I won't do is bad-mouth him like a spoiled little brat that hates anyone and everyone that doesn't see the world as they see it - sitting in front of their laptop where no one can see their acerbic tongue in action through their proxy fingers, all the while giving leverage to our enemies by constantly stirring up shit or showing any kind of respect or support to those that do!

It's so refreshing how many of you fall hook, line, and sinker for whatever the media tells you.
There was no Russian collusion. That's a proven fact.
The Steele Dossier was a fake. That's a proven fact.
Hillary Clinton personally signed off on the misinformation against Trump. Now a proven fact.
Multiple states violated their own laws and Constitutions in the 2020 election. But the media doesn't tell you that.
Mail in voting because of COVID was designed to manufacture tens of millions of Democrat votes, keeping control of Congress and giving the White House to...retard Joe Biden. Media doesn't tell yo that either.
But Trump tried to overthrow the government. The media told you that.
A bunch of protesters who were let into the Capitol by the Capitol Police and walked around with flags and horned hats for an hour engaged in an armed insurrection. The media told you that.
And now the false flag events with school and racial shootings are coming in fast and furious fashion. And you watch the media and follow the narrative
If they can get the guns, the battle is over. They will take all of your freedom by force and there will be nothing you can do about it. The media will NEVER tell you that, until it's too late.
Keep watching CNN and getting your national news from the internet. OPEN YOUR EYES, PEOPLE!!!

There was absolute Russian collusion.
Many people have gone to jail for it.
You delusional mad dumb ass.

that's pretty funny
when it SUITS you...it's the end
BTW, 50 people in the intelligence community SIGNED a letter about the hunter laptop as being russian disinformation
that HAD enough weight to keep tech/media's thumb on it and squashing the story. SO THAT WAS THE END of THAT also. right?
they got what they wanted...polls said 16 percent of the people would have changed their vote?
you're smarter than that...to come out with something SO stupid in light of all subsequent info
REMEMBER, it did not occur in a vacuum
what do I mean by that? very simple

No use arguing with that pea brain YellowBelly B2. He has syphilis. He got it from mcfly88. They both attended a a Trump orgy in Newport Beach once. They both ate the Ceasar Salad with Kumchi dressing.

The Russian government is no different than ours or any other government in that it works to get proffered candidates in other countries elected. It's no more sinister than China working to get Trump out of office. I bet you can find some substantiation on that if you had the resources to do so... but no one's with the means or access will do thst.soooo yeahhhhh ...
As far as Russian collusion is concerned.... dud you have swallowed the while pitcher of Kool aid so there's no use discussing it. I wish we could get Democrats to plead guilty to process crimes as easily as we are able to get Republicans to... we could be rid of all the fools on both sides real quick but Democrats don't have a conscience or shame.
