Or ask them Taiwanese on giving up their tech on semiconductors such as TSMC for building plants and foundries in Arizona where they are destined to fail and lose hundreds of millions of dollars couple with the fact that their entire tech for 2nm and 3nm tech would be fallen to USA's hands.
Or that we failed and lost the global trade where China kicked our asses in our own WTO game by doing exactly what we have done to the rest of the world for the past several decades. Instead of acknowledging we lost, we complained and accused China of not playing by the rules that WE FUCKING INVENTED. We could've drop from a previously stated 7.2% (now is 8.3%) inflation to a 4.3% simply by lowering tariffs. Lowering Tariffs won't solve inflation but that's how much it would help and also help on supply chains which is one of the main reason on having Tariffs to try to weaken China.
That was in February 2022.
Now we are in May coming to June 2022. a 1.1% increase in inflation in 3 months. Its the highest rate of increase EVER.
