Actually ah admitted she wrote the op-ed when she was on the last day of her testifying - the 2nd time not the first.
At least according to 'legalbytes' - youtube site that covered the trial and did recaps of every day.

Ahahaaaa! The jury didn't believe anything she said. $15.35 million for Depp, $2 million for Heard, meaning she's still out $13.35 million! She got $2 million for Aquaman 2. Wanna bet that's the most she'll ever make again in this town? Ahahaaaaa!

So, Trevor bauer has a shot at suing his accuser for slander. Her whole reason for a restraining order was to shake down bauer. Bauer being the total asshole gets her to consent to getting the shit beat out if her. He covers his pathetic ass. MLB doesn't like their employees picking up women for abuse. Even though the employee covers his ass legally. The whole thing happened because bauer couldn't help being an abusive jerk. What a waste.

At first I was on bauer's side. His accuser thought she would get an out if court settlement to go away. He admitted to doing everything she accused him of doing. Even admitting he anally penitrated her after he choker her out. That's when I realized what a total piece of shit bauer is. His behavior in his personal life was reckless, dangerous, abusive to women. If she didn't wake up after being beat up and choked out he could be accused of murder. I think bauer's a piece of shit. He may win a slander judgment.

The jury awarded Depp $10 million for compensatory damages and $5 million for punitive damages. Although, Judge Penney Azcarate said Depp’s punitive damages would be capped, “In accordance with law, I will amend the award to the statutory cap of $350,000 for Depp’s award.”

That's cos Virginia has a cap on punitive damages, $350,000 being the highest allowed.
But Heard still owes him $8.35 million & she was supposed to donate her past earnings for suing Depp to the ACLU. That's not gonna happen now!

Well the aclu didn't do it 'out of the kindness of their heart'.
They didn't step in til after she pledged 3.5 mil to them.

Enough of us, before this trial, assumed she was telling the truth about Depp but now we know SHE'S the one who attacked him & is a needy, violent, psychopath.
Her Q scores were bad before with low positives & high negatives. The negatives will go through the roof now. On social media, the amount of support for Depp over her was 50 to 1.
While Depp's lost momentum in his career, producers will at least feel it's safe to give him big roles again while no one will want to hire Heard, who had her biggest role in Aquaman... until Warner Brothers producers felt she had no chemistry with Jason Momoa so purposely reduced her role in the upcoming sequel.

Since she owes him 10.35 she can just take off the 2 mil and pay him 8.35.
Doesn't really matter if the amount's 1, 8 or 100 mil. She can't pay any of it and her prospects for future acting parts for the fore see able future are slim and none.

That's something a lot of us would assume: Why make him pay her $2 million when she owes him more? Why not just subtract the difference & make her pay him just one sum? But is that how it really works? Does anyone really know? I haven't read any articles about it.

Not sure if she can go bk on all or part of it.
I do know she's got to get a bond on the 10.35 mil though.
If it's like any other bond that alone will cost her about 1.035 mil.
If she can go bk she better do it before she gets the bond.
Since she's claiming she doesn't have the money and is broke I imagine she doesn't have the $$$ for an appeal either.
