It's going to get worse. The Inflation Report was horrible today. Be ready for a bad Summer with gas and food prices. Home buying is at all times low too.
Night rider said gas won't hit $5, I guess he doesn't know much...
Yes, 8.6%. OUCH
But Joe says the economy is great, everything is wonderful and nothing is his fault.
Thanks to all who voted for a man who spent his campaign at home with scripted statements.

some places in LA the gas prices are at 10 dollars a gallon
so much for your so called democrat run California now nobody can afford to go anywhere
now Biden is turning the country into a giant failing California flooded with illegal immigrants for cheap labor
Billionare class and Corporations win while everybody else is stuck with stagnant wages and the high cost of everything
This will continue until Jay Powell has the balls to raise interest rates above real inflation (Not the bullshit CPI).
The democraps and Fed knows, they can't stop the recession that is upon us...
Just seen my neighbor got a new truck.. ouch. I'm okay with my crv..
Did you also just notice the democrats in the WH and state capitol?
I don't think it's a party problem, it's a Biden problem. He's fucking awful. The choices we've been given recently are awful on both sides.
It is just a coincidence that nice guy biden wants electric vehicles and to do away with fossil ⛽️
Anyone with a lick of sense knows trump caused all this.
Bumbling biden cannot have caused any negative impact on anything..
I'd fuck with a Rivian.
They're actually pretty nice.
"I don't think it's a party problem, it's a Biden problem"
not a party problem...who do you think Biden is getting his marching orders from
it's called lobbyist (Democrat lobbyist) this is 100 percent a party problem
It's going get a lot worse the recession will happen because inflation is too high
either the feds will cause it by raising it's interest high enough or consumer confidence will dip so low that there won't be enough money circulating causing the economy to contract dipping the US right into a recession.
If Trump hadn't cut taxes and given out all them ppp loans we would likely already be in a recession and inflation would not have spiked. The government tried to skip the business cycle and look what happened we were already long over do for a recession which should have a happened on Trump's watch.
Cutting taxes, low interest loans, combined with printing all that money has put too much money in circulation into the economy which is why inflation is so high. Businesses are not hurting and taking losses like they should be so they can afford to hike the prices on everything. That is why there is so much work available when it shouldn't be.
Cutting taxes is where this inflation all started the economy was already booming that didn't need to happen. Biden policies have not helped but it definitely didn't start with him.

Tip ! Buy stock in companies that make new gas pumps, cause they only go to $9.99

From what I've noticed, we seem to be headed for a recession.
In particular, many restaurants are struggling with only 50% capacity.
There are less people shopping at the supermarkets and in the nightclubs.
According to a Fox News survey 75% of those polled said that they were
cutting back on eating out.
And with the Fed increasing the interest rate, there won't being much business expansion.
Janet Yellen, doesn't seem to know what she's talking about.
She said she didn't expect a recession soon.
Last weekend, I've noticed a decease in freeway traffic in the downtown Los Angeles area.
I live in the SGV and gas is still under $6.
Can't wait to see what happens when gas goes to $8 along with higher diesel costs.
Nightlife will come to a hault. There will be few cars on the streets at night. It will be eerie
Almost everything you buy is moved by diesel. Around 7 a gallon and rising. Products need to cover the freight. Inflation will continue.

The gas prices in the US are now about parity with what the Europeans have been paying, this would be a positive unintended consequence if it results in more people adopting EVs.
That makes no sense whatsoever who gives a shit about what The Europeans are paying.
This is about the United States of America not the United States of Europe
I'm just glad there are no more mean tweets and $6.75 per gallon of gas is just a small price to pay 💰⛽
I thought if we changed the name of Aunt Jemima syrup, Uncle Ben's Rice, and the Washington Redskins all these problems would go away and world peace would follow.
And the Guardians?
No more Cleveland Indians

Does anyone remember when Trump had the Saudies cut production by 25% or he would stop military aid!
Of course not.
I guess thebacknine can't figure out why a price war between the Saudies and Russia would be a bad idea for the the USA.
Yeah the big bad Orange man got tough the Saudi's over military aid and got his way.
Nothing like our national hero Jobama who gave $85B in military assets to the Taliban as he bumbled his way out of Afghanistan.
Do you not see the difference between the two leaders?
Ok, here is the price of gas over the past 5 years.
Future oil pricing dropping to -40pb is a problem for the world market, not just the USA.
Trump abolutely did the right thing... AGAIN!
Future oil pricing dropping to -40pb is a problem for the world OIL market, not just the USA.
Trump absolutely did the right thing... AGAIN!.
I know, just post a headline stating Orange Man is bad...
DTF….difference between Europe and the US….we are far more spread out and travel distances are far greater. Our people live in suburbs, not all crammed in big cities. If you only drive 200 miles in an entire month, not a huge deal to pay $7 a gallon.
#1. You'd have to be dumb as fuck to not realize that high oil prices will drive more exploration and drilling........good! Fuck you and your climate change scam.
#2. 55% of a barrel of oil goes to stuff that has nothing to do with gasoline and cannot be replaced by wind or solar.........you stupid climate change scam-artist fucks.
Oh and Greta is an autistic foaming-at-the-mouth mentally deranged fuck

My Geo Prizm still gets 35 mpg. Great first date car too. If she's up for a second or third date, I know she is genuine because it ain't for my looks

My condolences

The Dood would marry that shit, make the meals, do the housekeeping and suck his own cock!
They will stay up because Americans keep buying gas guzzlers. Best selling vehicle in my area is 18 mpg Tacoma. Check out the drivers on the road, the bigger the guzzler the faster they drive which lowers the fuel mileage more.

Get a sailboat and live on the ocean. Just anchor out every night!

redbull is so right.
There are immature 4wd deisel truck owners that like to "Roll Coal" on electric cars, and Japanese cars, hybrids and such.
Typical redneck mentality. I've seen it and a older Greek friend of mine told me it happened to him. Maybe cause he was Greek, IDK.

butthead, just ride your new honda crf450

all u economist are so good. ha ha
If you have issues with gas prices and inflation you should not be playing with HX peeps.. Save your duckets.
There are cycles and some are more violent than others, we are a global economy so when there is instability in one or a few nations it will reverberate throughout the entire global system. Cheap money in previous years is partly responsible for the inflation we are experiencing today that along with geo political issues have hasten the inflation surge.
I am neutral to politics of both extreme right and left but my views do lean to a moderate right on fiscal issues, social issues I lean ever so slightly left.
Some of Trumps policies were fine but you know you would have to pay for them later on, on Biden, well i think there was more that could have done sooner to alleviate what we are going though.
I do not believe any conspiracies on either side but there is a bigger divide between the two and people of my ilk are either quiet or disappearing. Its sad to see..
Cash is not king now.. i did think it was last year, but i think time to act is soon.. 6/13/22. Opinions are like a-holes everyone has one so all that is posted should be analyzed and decisions made on your own personal assets/liabilities and tolerance not a blanket statement made.
In all, dont be bitter be happy in your life if you have much to complain about you should look as to why and do away with those issues... Anger/Bitterness is like holding on to a hot piece of coal with the intention to throw it at someone u disagree with, in then end u are the one that gets burnt first. (Adapted from Buddhist saying)

I think that we're getting the short end of the stick. The Russians are paying $3.41 a gallon.
Interesting
supply and demand right?
white house needs to find more supply which over time will lower the cost of gas and everything else.
hedge with higher interest which will have a negative effect on economy though... its gonna hurt for a while.
too bad our leaders didnt see the shit coming earlier - its not going to fare well in next elections.
Car & Driver just did a comparison test on 4 lux SUV's. Fuel "economy" ranged from 14 to 17mpg! And that is if they would be driven by following speed limits. So keep on wasting a non renewable resource so the Saudi's can roll in money. Their new golf associan LIV paid Mickleson $200 million to play and promote their tournaments. Blood money for sure.
In 2008, under repub/Bush admin, gas hit $4.11 a gallon. With adjustment that is higher than now! I gave up my last gas guzzler, 350Z, that year. My motorcycles get 40-60 mpg, and my electric car is free to charge in my city.
what a great chart...thru the last 7 years or so...pretty fucking telling.

Circling back to other Democrats, market strategist Martin Pelletier slammed party leaders – including Kerry – for "mixed signals" on Twitter.
"Such mixed signals from this govt. Drill more oil wells or we will tax you, drill-less oil wells because of climate change," he wrote, quote tweeting the RNC.
Fact:
Democrats want "green energy"
Fact:
First Day in office, Brain Dead Biden kills Keystone Pipeline.
You wonder why you are paying double for gas what we did 18 months ago.
Elections have consequences.
