The Fox Popaganda Network commentators suggest this is one-sided and there's no counter-queries, but that is purely opinion and not fact or actual news.
Remember Kellyanne Conway talking about "alternative facts." That's just another word for lie.
To clarify, this is not a court, but a fact-finding mission, and presentation of said facts -- testimony of sworn individuals, under oath, and representative of hundreds of interviews under oath, and hundreds of thousands of pages of documents and proof.
Trump will likely have his day in court, and maybe he can find some more slimy lawyers to defend him.

Sadly, this does not hold true for the rest of the republican party, most of whom have their heads so far underground (or up their asses) that they have lost touch with their mission, the constitution, and the vast majority of their constituents.
I do have a theory as to why so many senators kowtow to Trump, And it's not about votes, directly. Does anyone remember when Trump got so mad at the Washington Post, (owned by Jef Bezos) because of all the negative press he was getting? Right after that, the national enquirer tried to blackmail Bezos into reining in the bad publicity by threatening to expose his extramarital affair with his mistress, including publishing dick pics taken by Bezos.
The National Enquirer is owned by David Pecker, who happens to be a buddy of Trump, Pecker ran the investigation of Bezos, and sent the extortion letter to Bezos. Never mind the delicious irony in that the man responsible for so many privacy-puncturing sites, software and hardware, was now himself the victim of covert surveillance., In a surprising display of backbone, Bezos took out full page ads in all the papers, saying basically "-FUCK YOU! This is gonna be embarrassing as fuck, but i wont be pushed around" Which led to the greatest headline in history for the NY Post: BEZOS EXPOSES PECKER!!!
But I digress. What if Trump/Pecker used the Enquirer's team of investigative sleuths to dig up dirt on HIS OWN PARTY!? None of use have any trouble believing that Mitch McConnell just HAS to have some disgusting sex deviance that he'd like to keep secret. And Linsey Graham? Eeew! And so on for the rest of the senate. Here are a few facts that you should know that will help you understand the significance and importance of the January 6 commission hearings:
First, Liz Cheney is an ultra-conservative Republican who is on the Jan. 6 Committee because she actually cares about democracy. I'm sure she also hates Trump, but she hates him because of his actions on January 6. She voted for him in 2020 and also voted with him in nearly all of measures that he supported.
And I'm sure most of you know, if you've been watching the hearings, that most of those who testified were Republicans inside Trump's administration or Republicans who were advising Trump.
Trump was told repeatedly, by Bill Barr and by multiple Republican advisors, that he lost the 2020 election. Trump knew he lost. His own daughter believed Bill Barr over Trump's election lies.
Trump also lost 60 court cases he filed seeking to overturn the election results and many of the judges were appointed by Trump.
Trump's big lie, that the election was stolen, was the basis for the insurrection.
Pence was so worried that Trump would interfere with him (and Congress) certifying the election that he refused to enter a car sent to pick him up and told the Secret Service that he was not going into the car.
Trump did nothing, nothing, to stop the insurrection. He didn't call the military or the police to protect the Members of Congress. It was Pence who called the military and police to mobilize resources to stop the insurrection.
After the insurrection, "Multiple" GOP lawmakers sought pardons for trying to overturn Biden's win. Why would they seek preemptive pardons unless they knew they were guilty of a crime?
Betsy DeVos (and other Trump cabinet members) says she resigned after learning Pence wouldn't support invoking the 25th Amendment to remove Trump in the wake of the Capitol riot. Pence said they didn't have enough time to invoke the 25th Amendment because there was less than 3 weeks left until Trump would be forced to leave the White House anyway.
If you want democracy to work, you need to accept the results of fair elections. Don't follow liars and grifters who care more about their own self interest than the country and our Constitution.

Whether you are not agreeable to a more "liberal" approach to economics, it would have helped to have a prior president that listened to his advisers and publicly recognize the pandemic when it occurred. It would have lessened the massive funding that happened to re-stimulate the economy which has eliminated unemployment but left us with this current inflation. Even the facts before the hearing which show that his own advisors were telling him to call in some type of enforcement prove incompetence that he should never be trusted in any level of protection including that of a crossing guard, but now with the facts showing that his inaction was part of a conspiracy to over-throw the duly elected government makes me what the AG is waiting for?

Are we to believe that in three weeks the Justice Dept. conducted a thorough investigation into allegations of election fraud in states like Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Arizona? Did the Justice Dept. ever issue a report about its "investigation? If so, I never saw it.
I think that Barr was just stating his opinion, which was not based facts revealed during a thorough investigation.

There was never any evidence of whatsoever of voter fraud that would have overturned 2020 election.
Giuliani's license to practice law has been suspended in NY and in DC because he filed frivolous lawsuits. He has not offered any evidence of voter fraud.
We're not even talking about his mishandling of the pandemic where tens of thousands of people died needlessly, or that he lied about the direction Hurricane Dorian was headed imperiling millions of people, or that he wanted to use a nuclear bomb to stop the hurricanes, or that he wanted to get rid of NATO to help his bud Putin, or that he continued to support Putin even after he invaded Ukraine calling him a "genius".
Trump also raised $250 million in donations to fight the outcome of the 2020 election. There are reports that the money was siphoned off to Trump's PAC where he will likely get all of the money that isn't spent. What a repulsive, disgusting grifter.
It's going to take years to unpack and investigate his corruption.
Bottom line: Trump is corrupt, dangerous, and needs to be prosecuted. He's this country's embarrassment.
