If you or your Landlord filled out the application, they’re just now starting to close out their files. Check your email make sure you look into the spam folder. They’re only giving people a limited amount of time to respond. If you owe and didn’t do your part on housing is key, you will be easily evicted even in rent controlled units

In California, where laws favor tenants over those that own the property.. it's NEVER been easy to evict a tenant.

Change away from COVID isn't going to make it easier to get rid of a deadbeat.

Underlying laws are still there.

In some instances, it's easier to sell the building out from under a tenant than it is to evict them.
