I think he's going to bail on the Twitter purchase. He had to find out what was waiting for a new owner and the lawsuits plus the bot issue plus old owners hedging on value makes it a bad idea.
His SpaceX Company launched 59 satellites into space ON ONE DAY recently. He's minting money for SpaceX and Tesla expects to improve its battery life by end of year. He doesn't need twitter.

Won't go in front of a court cause it's not a 'whistle blower' case.
They screwed up when they did their recruiting to sign the letter at work - sending emails to other employees on the bosses time.
If they'd done it from home on personal email accounts they might have a case, doubtful but maybe.

Not really. SpaceX isn't a publicly owned company, Elon owns it 100%. Tesla on the other hand is a publicly owned company. Which, as Musk has said, his experience with Tesla is why he kept it private - he doesn't like having to answer to anyone that knows less about his company then he does.
