DeSantis is a very bright guy. He's also a fighter. Is that enough? He doesn't have Youngkin's positive, cheerful personality. But Trump has shown you don't need that, but aren't we sick of a leader that constantly is involved in fighting?

I''m no lefty, and quickly gave up on the Trump-Russia conspiracy since there was no smoking gun evidence IMO.
I wasn't a fan of the original impeachment. I felt "what's the point?" considering there is no chance for a guilty verdict. You can probably check my writing here on the subject.
I started really disliking Trump over his handling of COVID, but the truth be told, Biden is handling things badly too. At least we got vaccines and monoclonal antibodies in record time with Trump.
Truth is, no one is good at handling COVID. It's a complex problem that keeps on changing on you when you think you've finally got a handle on it.
How Trump tried to circumvent the election results to me was also pretty awful, but I'm of the opinion that if the people still want him as President, the people deserve him.

He clearly failed to protect and defend the constitution, he was derelict in protecting the Capitol on Jan 6th.

I realize PBS may be a bit dry but its just a journalists on Skype asking the judge how he became involved in testifying for the Jan 6th committee. Obviously you didn't even attempt to watch what he had to say. Why take the time to talk bullshit about something you know nothing about.?
This former judge is an impressive constitional expert. He knows all the lawyers involved and what John Eastman was trying to do with state elector slates. It's almost 3 hours long but it's very informative and great story.
