Thumbs up for gun rights, time to get my CCW back
Not so thumbs up for abortion rights, but they've at least got rid of a shitty SCOTUS decision. Now, you fucks need to work on the issue "democratically" thru your reps instead of leaving it up to 9 rotating chuckleheads.
Prayer in education? That didn't actually happen, so try again.
The authoritarian Progs are taking it up the ass lately, that's for sure.
Meanwhile, the Libertarian Party is getting ass-fucked too............damn
Humans can really fuck shit up

Oh, BTW...........check out the new SB 10 in CA.
If Sacramento did nothing, CA would still have abortion rights under the "old" SCOTUS guidelines of viability. Now, the new proposed law removes the viability part and you can get an abortion right up to the time Junior pops the little head out..........isn't that grand!
Even Gloom Guy will be able to get an abortion any time he/she/it likes!
What a great state we live in!

prayer in education have returned to pre 1950s. NOT.
The court merely said a high school football coach could kneel in prayer at the end of a game.
He was fired from his job and appealed the firing....went all the way to SCOTUS.
They said he had every right to do so...it was not being 'sanctioned' by the school district. He was not making or encouraging his football players to join him, etc.
They made the correct ruling
Roe was overturned because it was bad precedent that was NOT supported by any law or constitutional item. Courts don't get to make up shit.

RGB remarked back in 1992 that Roe was wrongly decided and that she expected it would be overturned at some point.

Then she up and died at the wrong time

Ruth died at the wrong time to be sure...you progressive liberals fucked up...Trump appointed (3) justices...you are fucked for the next 30 years...also...if RGB was an escort on here...ever...she would have starved to death...you liberal progressives are so unnatractive...post any good looking liberal...I will post two good looking...HOT conservatives...also...check out the link...this is why you progressives are failing...duh...it's obvious that she is driving a car...RETARD!!!!!!!!

Haven't people realized that prayers don't do anything? None of the past prayers stopped future school shootings. And the conservatives better start praying for more water before we're all toast.

Libtards , shaking my head in disgust!

If you live in California you should wish that the billions spent on a bullet train were spent on waterways and water reservoirs.
That would be the blue team

The reality is that there is no constitutional right to an abortion. In 1973, the Roe Court decided to "find a way" even though one did not exist. The created the idea of "penumbras" whereby they implied a right to privacy, and hung abortion on that privacy right that didn't really exist.
Ignoring the Constitution because of a political issue is a bad practice. But the Roe Court did just that. And you cannot set aside our founding documents for a political issue. It is a slippery slope that will eventually doom our Republic.
The problem is that when the left wants something, they don't believe in process. They want it right now, and want to reap the benefits in the subsequent election. Instant gratification, instant results. Party first. Country? Last.
The current Court is the first in 50 years to have the courage to protect our Constitution, that bestows upon us our political system, and articulates our actual rights and freedoms! They stood up for the Constitution, and protected it. It's not about the issue. It's about protecting the Constitution and the Republic.
So what now? If a constitutional right to an abortion is what you want, demand that your Democrat leaders who claim that they support abortion actually read the Constitution and specifically Article V, which is the road map to how to amend the Constitution. But be warned, Democrat leaders don't want to put in the work. And an amendment is HARD work. We all enjoy eating sausage. It's really good...but hard work to make it...and it's a dirty nasty job. No one wants to see how they make it. They just want it cooked and served to them.
The left's problem is that the Democrat leaders lack courage. They lacked courage when they pushed Roe through illegally 50 years ago. And they lack the courage now to do what their constituents want...instead they will use the issue for political gain, point fingers, and try to win more elections, providing no results for the People. Good job, Democrats...cowards.

^I don't agree with this completely.
Many people, not all, but enough, believed that Roe vs. Wade would not be overturned. Maybe the Supreme Court would change it a bit, but that's all. Obviously, codifying Roe would not be necessary if you, like me, believed this.
On the other hand, Christian conservatives persevered & worked hard at trying to shape the courts for 50 years until they got a Supreme Court that went their way. You got to credit them. Moderates/center leftists can learn from that. Christian conservatives did it without ending filibusters or increasing the size of the Supreme Court, although they did play hardball with the Garland nomination.
I do agree that CURRENT pro-choice leadership sucks. That's in part why you see them talk about ending filibusters or increasing the size of the Supreme Court, which would just piss off the other side and create more angry MAGA Republicans.
We've got to play the long game now. My first step to prevent what just happened in the Supreme Court is to work towards codifying right of privacy, which is the basis for other rights (contraception, same sex marriage). It will be very hard, but it needs to be done to ensure a Dobbs vs. Jackson doesn't happen again. It may take 50 years to finally codify Roe, but it would be (much more) permanent. You can beat the other side without alienating them and further destroying our country.
Codification should be a constitutional amendment by the way.
By the way, I was very pissed at first about Dobbs, so I understand where emotional Dems are coming from.

About prayer after games: If the coach within reason made sure that others knew they wouldn’t get favors, and if he discouraged feeling obligated to join in, then I have no problem with the praying. It's actually kind of nice. Not sure that happened however:
In dissent, Sotomayor wrote Monday that players “recognize that gaining the coach’s approval may pay dividends small and large, from extra playing time to a stronger letter of recommendation to additional support in college athletic recruiting.” And she said “some students reported joining Kennedy’s prayer because they felt social pressure to follow their coach and teammates.”
