Well, 2 wrongs don't make a right.
I've always wondered how men felt about that photoshop thingy.

I’ve enjoyed both of you “Au natural” You are both beautiful women! 😘

Skurfer Girl, PhotoShop for enhancement is one thing. "Counterfeiting" your looks to make money is dishonest, IMHO.

LanaLoveLane,
I'm not referring to regular makeup, I'm referring to digital manipulation that does not give an "honest" representation of the provider. Just wanted to get people's thoughts on the idea. In reality, it doesn't happen all that often, at least to me.

chkstar I completely agree.
Thanks Peter .

My thought is that I really like giving digital manipulation to big hooters.

Inevitably, we will all find out who has heavily touched up pictures. Not smart for business.
You’d think the photoshop/filter thing is so commonplace now because of IG that all men should expect it, but improving your pictures goes against the purpose of this site.
Yes, you want to look the best you can to get the most business, but if you look substantially different when the door opens, then you really are breaking the rules and you may receive dings on your network.
But that is not the worst part.
Guys talk amongst themselves. We share information on who we’ve visited to help a guy pick who he’d like to visit next. The one topic that is always discussed is how representative a person’s picture is to them in real life. If it’s inaccurate, as it often is, you will never know how many guys you’ve lost out on visiting you. And you don’t know how many 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, etc. visits you’ve missed out on per guy.
Being honest will likely result in even more business because guys can trust you.
And a guy should never short someone money. They should just leave when they realize they’ve been deceived.
We also discuss performance. Those who are enthusiastic, passionate, engaging, and who fulfill their obligations get high marks. Did you notice that some people seem to always be busy?

Definitely well said.

No it’s not. It’s like selling a flashy TV that is really not as flashy as you thought
|

Let’s be real, most guys don’t care unless look radically different. Otherwise most people’s networks would be a sea of red instead of green

I would agree that using photoshop to completely change your look to attract business is definitely a ‘bait and switch’ tactic. But that ‘hide the reality’ practice is nothing new here on HX! Before photoshop became popular and easy to do, providers here had mastered the art of the ‘strategic photographic pose’ in their photos to hide, disguise or lessen something that they considered unflattering, be it scars, skin blemishes, weight issues, dental problems, etc.
Guys just need to be smart and do their due diligence. As had been mentioned above, look hard at ALL photos provided for clues, research blogs, read reviews, ask around, etc. Do that and it will help paint a more accurate picture of what the provider looks like.

Hey OP, help everyone else here and post your driver license (your real Id) to demonstrate.
|
|
Yeah, I felt I got scammed sometimes. I'm avoiding old pics, filtered, blurry, questionable pics, no full body shots in the albums, most seem to want to hide the middle area.

There’s always that ONE person who misses the point.

False advertising.

What an excellent exotic dancer Lagruta is!

It’s a good thing to talk about… Obviously they’re always going to be levels to this. But the way I see it, I would rather show what I’ve got rather than make it look like some thing else, because it would hurt my feelings to have someone come to the door and then see their disappointment. I would much rather just deflect them in the first place if they don’t like what I have and stay tuned for genuine authentic mutual situation’s

Its more than just photoshop.
Every photo app on a phone has a filter now.
It's an epidemic of fake ass looking people/photos.
|
|
There are lots of other factors involved than love at first site. It is lucrative to have other redeeming qualities. Skills are verifiable.

|
the porn star agent Jim South on Ventura blvd always had albums of his models on polaroid.
even long after the www he would take a photo of the polaroid and upload to his website.
|

^ I think that it's fine. Reason being is that you are still accurate to your pics and you update them pretty regularly.
I believe that it can be false advertising if a irl is using and reusing pics that are 1-2 + y3ars old because our image can sometimes change dramatically within the course of a year
|
|
Ive heard of people turning around and walking out, or sending a lady away, but once you choose to stay and utilize the service you are then a thief if you pay with fake bills.
btw I don't photoshop, so this is just my .02

Two wrongs don't make a right, indeed.
This whole problem could be avoided if they just posted real photos. If you don't want your face showing, just hide it. Don't do some creepy editing of it. I can't even address editing the body to look slimmer because that makes no sense for this type of work. It's straight-up false advertising. You may get a few more clients, but they're not going to like it and possibly start drama. Just be yourself...
|
|
Also, I agree with Lana. Different face aside, I just don't like make-up so it would be cool to be able to say "ay bruh no make-up pls". I get to see their pretty faces and it's less work/money for them.

@ PhoenixParker
If you avoid showing your stomach in pictures, most guys know that means there's an issue there.
I recommend wearing a bustier or something that covers up your stomach but shows your boobs and has easy access below your waist so you don't have to take it off while having fun. That should eliminate your insecurity, and I assume most guys would be happy with that since the "entertainment centers" are uncovered while covering up what may be a distraction. If you go this route, I would take pictures in such outfits so they know what to expect.
That also allows you to show off your skills without feeling insecure with what you'd prefer to hide.
The ultimate goal should be for both parties to have a great time. I would say 50% of my enjoyment is knowing that you're also getting off and having fun. That's why one's attitude is so important, in addition to their skills.

I think that girls who look nothing like the pics the advertise are more interested in attracting a NEW CUSTOMER RIGHT NOW with not much thought if they will ever see that person again. Girls who do look like the girl in the photo are going to get more repeat business. So I guess it boils down to what the girl's preference is. I like to think I am in the second group.
|
|
If the pics dont match the ad, I leave. It's that simple.
