The only places I know that don't ask for deposit is The Shadow Park on beach and ball if you don't have a pet. If you do Beach side Inn on beach and orange or the Coral motel in Buena park. These are all dive motels though...hope this helped

I can’t tell you how many times I had enough for a room but not enough for a room + deposit. Especially if you need to use the room for business or making money. The struggle is real y’all
