Honestly I am kind of glad Republicans tried to start limiting abortions. It is something I would've been offended at a couple years ago, but unsurprised any more. I hope they continue this trend at this rate. Completely get rid of social security. Eliminate the minimum wage. End medicaid for places like nursing homes. Arm the whole country with machine guns. Ban all immigrants from coming to this country.

As to what reason why? No one knows. Random people who aren’t even politically active or COVID positive got all their life savings stolen overnight and told to fuck of and die by their own government.
How about their social credit score system that dings you for having a differing opinion from the CCP narrative or for simple things like smoking, J walking, crossing the street too fast, crossing too slow, acting too happy, causing a public disturbance. All these things can lead to your score being dropped which ultimately result in you losing basic human rights like being able to go to the store and buy food and water, being able to travel or use any form of public transportation, being able to have a bank account, being able to have passport. All gone because you got snitched out by your neighbor or ex because they pay people to do that too.
The US has faults. I admitted that. But China is a shithole. One of the worst shitholes on the planet. That’s why they’re experiencing mass exit by foreigners. They’re so pathetic that they’re now banning their own citizens and foreigners they don’t like from leaving. Look up “exit ban”. That’s a real thing in China.

Depends on where you live in China.
I know of communities where, despite the paranoia, it Is safe to leave your doors open and unlocked, where neighbors look out more for each other than most family members, where there are non-government cultural activities that people genuinely feel happy to participate in, and the economic situation is so that people may not be rich but they are comfortable.
Not a total shit show by far ( and I have been across 5 major continents).

Is this shithole definition the same as the one Trump used on Haiti? If not what type of shithole is China?
