This is a good time to be a criminal in CA, especially LA County. Use a public defender for your arraignment and/or preliminary hearing, to see what they can offer you before you spend the money on a trial attorney.
Darden has a lousy rep as a criminal attorney.

I agree with bwana. Get a public defender to start off. He or she will explain the legal and factual issues to you. So ask for one when you go to court. The judge will appoint one if you qualify.
If you hire a private attorney it will make a difference if the charge is a felony or misdemeanor.

Yea tomorrow idk I just know a lawyer can get stuff dropped all the way down. And now days when you want something it’s all about who you know it’s sad but it reality of the real world. But I’ll see how it goes tomorrow
