87,000 new IRS agents? Clearly, a potent political message for the right wing lunatics but not accurate. About 50% of current IRS employees are eligible for retirement over the next five years and most of the positions filled will be those lost to attrition. Moreover, the IRS headcount is down around 25% from 2010. So, basically, the increased funding will restore the IRS to where it was prior to 2010. In addition, a big chunk of the increased funding will be used to modernize information systems. The IRS IT is so freaking antiquated that they still use COBOL to process individual tax returns. But, hey, if you are are wealthy individual you probably don't like the increase in funding since the IRS audit rate for the rich fell from 8.4% in 2010 to 2.4% in 2019 and one of the major objectives of the legislation is to substantially increase the audit rate for the rich. But, if you are just a middle class grunt you might be happy since your inquiry to the IRS might be answered and you might get your rebate quicker. Currently, the IRS backlog is 10.2 million unprocessed returns.

It appears that the raid was a fishing expedition with the search for classified documents
as an excuse. His attorneys were not allowed to observe the FBI agents activities.
The Dems keep searching for a crime and even fabricate evidence.
Yet Hillary, Joe and Hunter get a pass when there is evidence in plain sight
that crimes have been committed.
Those of you who don't believe that the FBI and DOJ has not been weaponized by the Dems
to be used against their opponents are FOOLS.
I hope those of you who don't like Trump are investigated by the DOJ when the Repubs
take back Congress and get treated the same way they treat Trump and his associates.
(I'm not serious, I'm just making the point that those of you who don't like Trump should
