My biggest regret was never seeing Jimmy live.

I was only 10 so ... no. Didn't make it.
Do have a friend that saw Jimmy at the Monterrey Pop Festival though. The one where he played his guitar with his tongue then later lit his guitar on fire.

The date was August 15, 1969. I had just enlisted in the USAF to avoid the draft. So, as Hendrix was playing at Woodstock, I was doing push ups in San Antonio, Texas.

Lots of good music missed, never saw Joplin or Morrison either

I dont think anyone who attended concerts in the sixties can remember anything.
I did attend Cal Jam 2 at Ontario Motor speedway in 1978.
A total mass of humanity at 350,000 strong with not enough bathroom or food facilities. People camped out the night before and concert all of next day. I think Aerosmith was final act.
Aerosmith, Ted Nugent, Foreiner, Heart, Santana, Dave Mason, Bob Welch.. a few others.
