Too much evidence is now out in the public domain that our politicians handed too much power to un-elected health officials. One crap computer simulation in the UK and everything goes to shit.
Evidence is now overwhelming that lockdowns caused more harm than good, anything but a well fitting N95 is complete bullshit and even then, evidence from meta-studies shows that there's very little difference between states that did mask mandates vs. those that didn't, when adjusted for age, etc.
Bottom line, mostly old people died and not much could've been done about it, not to mention that the health industry had NO clue how to even treat the problem for a long time. And, going with the "save lives at any and all cost"........is a garbage policy. There's always a trade-off, each and every day as to how far we go to save lives and the evidence is all around us...........speed limits, closing time of bars, just fucking everything for fucks sake.

@NR, I was under the impression that lockdowns were at the top of the list. Trump didn't want
the lockdowns because he knew it could wreck the economy but others like Fauci and members
of congress overruled him.
In the early part of 2020, I remember watching a program from Japan, on the NHK channel
that presented reseach by a medical researcher from the University of Hong Kong
who said that lockdowns should only be used as a last resort based on his study of the SARs
virus in asia. So there was already plenty of evidence on how to deal with the Corona Virus-19
epidemic. This was ignored by the US government medical professionals.
