Yes it definitely ruins it for others. People suck and don’t think how they are messing it up for others.
I would say just rate them unsafe. If they are willing to pay a cancellation fee then definitely go for it.

That socks, it has happened to me but I never rate them negative, I call that not reliable.
I wouldn't book them again if they try to re- book you again.

Time to start asking for a deposit. Your time is just as valuable as the clients. Granted there are some times when there are issues such as freeway traffic or emergency arising. But what the hell do I know, I have no rating. Actually not here but I do on another site which you happen to be on. And a lot of the former ladies from here happened to be on. God bless America

IMHO, if they failed to show up after getting your address and apt #, they’re unsafe.
If they booked an appt but didn’t call afterwards to never get the address, they’re unreliable but not necessarily unsafe. There is a place for rating someone unreliable. One dude gets 20 unreliable ratings, maybe the gals would stop booking him.

When I book an appointment it's 100% sure I will be there and if something comes up I will call ahead of time to postpone but not to cancel.

Refer them to the providers that make appointments then forget or don't send addy or ghost the confirmation text or don't answer the door or open the door but aren't in any condition to entertain.

Case 1
Its a FLAKE....had an appointment and did not show up, there are a few clubs that u can address that in...."flakes are frustrating", ect. ....if he is a high level (I would want some kind of explanation, he should know better) maybe something did happen, not in his control ....but you can mark him red for reliability and/Karma
CASE 2
has an appointment, shows up at the correct time. Text you "I'm here at the hotel" and you give him the room #, then he ghosts you....then he is an A-hole.

I understand the desire for a deposit. The problem is, it is not cash and therefore traceable. I would have no problem with deposits if they where not done electronically. It is a strong NO for me with deposits. Had to miss out on encounters because of it.

If it happens 1 time and he wants to see you again, then definitely ask for a deposit.
It's a fine line when it comes to this, because of the gentlemen that DON'T FLAKE, why bother with inconveniencing them ...
I've not had an issue with this myself, thankfully!
However, I could see how it's such a buzzkill when ya get all ready and stuff and like you say you could of taken other appointments.

Ive had two different ladies flake,
One at least gave me a lame excuse, but it was last min,
Another one never responded back ,
This was recently.
I understand deposit but how much for the deposit and what guarantee do we have the lady wont flake ?? Do we get the deposit back??

If they have an excuse, we all have been there. But if they ghost you then rate them accordingly and don't entertain their requests again.
Too many people here are afraid to rate people accordingly because they are afraid of a retaliation mark.
Just rate them!
That red mark will make a girl contact you and ask why, since they are contacting them. Then due to them being unreliable, the girl will opt not to see them because they may get the same treatment.
Guys here aren't giving deposits, that's for sure(just being honest) because, though you have been flaked on a bit, multiply that by 100 and that's how many times guys have been flaked on. (I have personally been flaked on at minimum 5 times a year, wasting my time and gas).
Also, join Dandruff club.
High levels of all guys should be reliable in my opinion.

I’m sorry to white knight, but whenever I do same day messaging I never get flaked on. I did experience flake if plan like a day earlier. Idk if this is similar pattern for the ladies here, or maybe guys in this field are more flakier

The flakes and NC/NS seems to be at an all time high this year. I have not been able to figure it out myself. And yes, it is very frustrating. Guys with good network, Guys who check out great, who just plain do not show up. It does waste a lot of time. Getting ready and prepared, and then giving them a fair amount of time for tardiness. And the time can never be rebooked with someone else who wanted that time. It is to late now. And for the guys who have some sort of excuse later, I call BS, it takes less time to send a text saying you can not make it, then it took to make the appointment in the 1st place. I mean really? A simple text saying sorry I can not make it would be enough. And as soon as you know you will not be able to keep the appointment. Not at the very time you should be arriving. For example, if it would take you 20 mins to get there, you would know you are not on your way, send a text. It not like we are going to quiz you about why?
It is just the right thing to do.

Also the 1410 that still hanging on by a thread till they age out which may be in 5 months lol, are part of the issue as they are accepting it....so they real problem stems from within unforturnately. I am glad at moments like this that it is not discriminatory....louse are louse lol.

One of the things I like most about HX is what I refer to as "Skin in the Game." It takes quite a bit of time and participation to promote up a level, and getting to Level 4 or 5 SHOULD be an indication that this person is very dependable and reliable. And for the most part, that holds true. But we can't ignore the fact that people can sometimes change. But when I hear of these types of problems of "ghosting", the first thing that comes to mind is "miscommunication." One person thought the appointment was a lock while the other person didn't. Clear, concise, and effective communication is the best way to avoid this.
The second thing I think of is "imposter" or hacked account. When someone who has literally taken years (and a considerable investment of money) to suddenly flip 180 degrees is not logical - there has to be a reason.
The last thing I consider is that the person in question may have gone through some RECENT changes in their life, like maybe a relationship failure, death of a loved one, or a failed career. But I think the most common reason is a sudden problem with chemical dependency. That is the sort of thing that can happen quickly, and can have severe life changing ramifications - the least of which would be throwing away their "Skin in the Game" that took years to develop.
It's life - people can change. And it's business - just got to deal with it. But please document these problems with appropriate network ratings so the rest of us can exercise some due diligence and caution when dealing with people - of ANY LEVEL - who are suddenly acting abnormal to what their history would otherwise indicate.

It could be a variety of reasons. But personally I think it comes with the territory (the business), no one likes to be stood up but this is one reason why I don't provide much. But last time I did incall , the fella came through and the others did as well. Which I thanked them for come last minute, and not standing me up. Good luck everyone and be gentle.

You are right both Taylor and others. I think thar because the flakers don't respect ladies time, and they feel no sense of consequences for their alleged misbavior and bad etiquette. Some of it is just a "guy" thing in general and majority of men flake on their own friends, wives and gf's. I am grateful when I meet a true honorable gent. I feel I get more respect in NC overall with the Southern gents. Only a small percentage of genrs elsewhere can compare. I have gone a tour a bunch back in the day. Nothing was more frustrating than having flakes from othet states waste my time. It is why I like my other endeavors more.

One of the common comments I see is that this is a fairly new phenomenon, and I wonder if the pandemic had anything to do with it. We may have been on lockdown, but our laptops weren't. I think what we might be seeing is a habit developed during the pandemic that still exist. Guys don't want to actually date as much as they want to "chat." Even in the most basic emailing back and forth I can see where a guy might get off on (what he perceives) as some mild phone sex. Taken to the extreme, I can see where the ultimate phone sex fantasy would be that they actually talked someone into seeing them (or, in this case, tricked someone into see them). Just don't find the logic in it if they have "Skin in the Game" because it will destroy their well developed reputation.
All we can do is suck it up and weed them out!
The only thing I would ask, and caution about, is making absolutely sure that they are who they say they are before throwing shade on them. Some of these imposters are so convincing they could be selling refrigerators to Eskimos!
Question: Do you find that these types of "flaking" were based on conversations and appointments that were set via HX, texting, or email? I am always a little suspicious of anything outside of a conversation within the HX platform.

For everyone complaining that providers flake on them too first first of all thats not the issue I was trying to discuss obviously I acknowledge that happens but let’s not discredit our problems and turn it into yours. This is business for us, but a hobby for you.
I’ve have never no called no showed on an appointment so its not fair to discredit my issues
Only advice I can offer is make sure you’re doing your research on a provider.
Check that she has reviews on other sites , active social media and preferably her own website.
All these new super hot girls with low rates are almost always fake / scams

I've been in this hobby for over a couple of decades, and I try to approach this as "fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me." I NEVER re-book when ghosted, will usually review the "No-Show/No-Call" to let other hobbyists know, and RARELY will re-book if a provider bails on me last minute UNLESS we exchange communication and it seems sincere. Life stuff happens.
That said, I won't book anyone who requires deposits. Kind of a hard-&-fast rule of mine. Even anonymous deposits like Amazon and Crypto are an unnecessary pain in the a$$. "The juice isn't worth the squeeze" imho. There are too many other lovely, non-deposit fruit tress where the juice also tastes fantastic. [One guess as to my favorite part of an encounter.]
