Because the professionals interference in Syria preventing Russia from installing pipelines has not had any disastrous effect on the world.
I get it you want to believe that the state department and intelligence agencies are acting in the interest of the US and the world. But their interference under Bush's presid3ncy et al has well as under this Presidency has been disastrous. What propels Xi and Putin to move forward is how apathetic and divided the West has behaved towards them. The refusal to do more than we did against Russia when they invaded Georgia and took Crimea. And the refusal of the US to move geopolitically against them in countries like Syria. Our absence in critical foreign affairs, which is espoused by both the establishment Democrats and MAGA Republicans now, is the problem.
It wasn't the intelligence department that got it wrong in Iraq. It was the manipulation of data and the department by some people who wanted to go to war with Iraq. And even then things could have been different in Iraq if we didn't refuse to work with ex-Baathists.
Globalization isn't the problem. The problem is that globalization needs to go hand-in-hand with a redistribution of wealth gained by globalization in order for everyone to profit. The problem is the very same people who hate globalization hate redistribution (that pesky socialism!!!!).

From '16 - to lockdowns, the economy was doing VERY well.
During trump's presidency the number of illegals crossing into the U.S. was virtually stopped.
Energy prices were very low - I permanently moved to Austin in 2018 and gas prices were UNDER $2.00 now - $3.90 down from $4.60. My utility bills have also increased dramatically since 2020.
So yes - trump had a bunch of success. Were they all due to him? That's another debate.
But, we do know that ever since biden got into office every thing has gone to shit AND it is his fault.
His policies have caused the runaway inflation we're seeing now.
He did absolutely NOTHING when gas prices started spiraling out of control - and yes there was a lot he could have done but was either too paralyzed, incompetent, inept or stupid or ALL OF THE ABOVE to do anything.
Worked with social media platforms to censor differing opinions - which is coming out now
Supports a foreign war - reports are starting to come out that he may have sabotaged a Ukraine - Russian peace deal.
Transportation is a mess and his incompetent transportation secretary, much like his boss, is doing nothing other then writing letters, wringing his hands and wondering what the fuck he should be doing.
Food prices are way up but so are ALL costs from building supplies, up 100 - 500%, to appliances and fixtures to entertainment of any kind
