No safe haven this weekend. Stay hydrated. Take it ez
Stay safe and cool, gorgeous.

A great way to beat the heat is to set up an incall by the beach. Come visit Manhattan, Hermosa, or Redondo where it’s in the 80s. Forget the valley. Pasadena? No way. Anaheim? Nah. Irvine? Nope. Come have some fun in the beach cities.

Thank you June for your post and concerns.

Make sure you fully understand that caffeinated beverages and alcohol actually dehydrate the body. So during high heat conditions, cut down or avoid tea, coffee, Coke, energy drinks, etc.
Also, when consuming alcohol, make sure you put in some water spacers. One beer, one water, one beer, one water should be your approach to help get through these hot days safely.

Just blew a "head" gasket and my ball-sack exploded!
Good time to run a marathon but I'm waiting for the sun to get directly overhead.
i was a starbucks the other day, i am not a drive through person - always park and go inside.
As always the inside was nice and cool, guessing not over 70 and lots of comfortable chairs with decent wifi service.
And fresh cold beverages on order, not a bad place to hang out for an hour or so to cool down.

Ahhh ... feel better girlie, That's one of the worst feelings !
Keep hydrated!!!
Banana, any fruits is good to have in this heat, lately I've been a SMOOTHIE QUEEN, come over girl I'll hook you up LOL you'll feel better in no time !!

I always bring a couple of bottles of water when I see someone, so we both can be properly hydrated. It only takes a few minutes to stop by a 7-11, liquor or grocery store to pick up the water, especially when the lady might not be getting out much.

During these high heat days it is important not to leave leftover food out unrefrigerated. Saw an article not too long ago where a college student ate leftover rice from the night before without being refrigerated - ended up with an infection so bad that he had both arms and legs amputated. When it is this hot, I usually don't even save leftovers; just make smaller portions and throw the leftovers out!

If the sidewalk, street or sand is too hot for human bare feet, it is too hot for dogs paws as well. Don't leave pets in your car, either. Make sure they have plenty of water, too.
^^^ I'm one of those people that won't hesitate to bust a window out if I see a child or a pet in a hot car! Call the police afterwards!
^thats facking crazy

June.Moon,
If I was not married, I would invite you to visit Santa Barbara, even better than Camarillo.
It's in the mid 80s in Big Bear. Come on up there's a lot of yard sales going on where you can go buy worthless crap that you don't need. But don't plan on going swimming because we have the algae bloom happening and if you do you turn into a Ninja turtle

Heat exhaustion is no joke. One of my employee’s had to rescue her boyfriend because he was driving in a car with no AC and was unable to drive safely from the heat.
Gloom guy, pay your illegal more money, so he can get a chebby with AC...
Cheap Bastard!

Time to call OSHA on Khan. Slave labor ended thanks to Lincoln when he defeated all those slave owning Democrats.
And back in topic.
Wish I could invite you over to chill at my pool, June, but I don’t want the neighbors rubbing one out as they look at your amazing bod over the fence line.
4' tall fence, 16" deep pool... Noted.
June, by pool he means the Santa Ana River
But you will be able to chill by his tent down by the river
i think the river is drying up

I passed out from heat exhausation in public twice last year. Fortunately both times, it was only a few seconds and the fall didn't hurt. Ended up heat sick once after stupidly doing a hike in Phoenix during summer (half before the sun came up). Throwing up from heat exhausation was not fun.
I routinely do 20 mile hikes so like to think I'm in decent shape. But it made no difference how i get affected. Please be careful yall with the heat.
I'm thinking boat parties out on the ocean where it's cool.
Checking your temperatures on the subject.
Would be out of Dana Point and small groups and several trips out. The fishing is going off too!
Casino night Sycuan! AC yess
Happy you’re feeling better now. Thanks for posting the warning, lovely June.Moon.
I'll be in my pool. Come to think of it, June, you should be too

Some people tend to have more problems with the heat than others. However if you are going to be working or playing in the sun during the day it is always wise to wear a hat, sunscreen and drink gatorade, powerade, etc in addition to water to replace some of the minerals lost through perspiration.

Thank you guys so much for the love I am feeling like superwoman again
This blog is so helpful !! I appreciate the tips and advice as well. You guys are seriously awesome
Though I had water I was running errands and kind of all over the place that I just didn't think to drink any. By the time i realized I was dehydrated it was a little too late lol
I do have AC but having a cold shower and liquids helped a lot and also a product called Liquid IV
Thank all again to each and every one of you!!! And make sure to keep an eye out on your pets, elders and smalls
If you get seriously dehydrated drink Gatorade or a similar drink as your body will need electrolytes not just water.

very pretty morning(feeling a tad sultry)...lots of color in the clouds...could SEE and FEEL the HEAT was going to be coming
in HB? looking at the weather.com page....98 every hr in the early morning, peaking at 11 then supposedly dropping at noon
this isn't the fucking 909...WTF is going on
You guys will be complaining it’s cold when it’s 70 degrees in no time.
^ No way... I dig 70° but that's not until late October maybe.
Went to the beach this morning. Offshore flow sucking dry desert air across the region right now. Mid 90's at 8AM but you could see Catalina and San Clemente islands.
it's always september/october for our hottest days
typically one tropical storm coming from the south makes ya a little too moist...not in a good way
909 and it's currently 79 with an overabundance of AHOLES. Luckily they will all be sliding out of town tomorrow.
