Honestly, I think the Republicans are going to own the next pair of elections. People are just too angry about COVID and mandates and closures, and they blame Dems. I have watched people who were liberal change their politics over this. Not saying I agree with them, but I do listen.
Me? I’m tired of the Dems too, but more for their economic and foreign policies than for COVID, but I can’t ever vote for America First Republicans. They seem to be fine with right-wing dictators.
No Biden, no Trump. I’m for Liz Cheney 2024. She won’t tell the truth about something and then change her story because the America First base didn’t like it. I like her economics and foreign policy too. If she were President and not Trump or Biden, we never would have left Afghanistan and create a potential breeding ground for terrorists.

This week, Dick Cheney was making a statement for what was right. Not for any policy agenda.
Granted, I did not like him as VP, but I didn't like Bush either.
Liz Cheney has my respect for doing what is right.
The majority of other Republican lawmakers, were nowhere to be found in Washington D.C. this week, as many bow to the misguided leadership who kisses the ring of the Man from Mara Lago.
It's a damned sad state of affairs.
I watched Ted Cruz on Fox, and it was the biggest case of brown-nosing and lying I've seen in days... which is easy to find on Fox. Josh Hawley is another prime example of a liar.

Not sure about 2024 Presidential election going to the Republicans. For a number of reasons. First there are some experts on viruls replication who believe Omicron may itself act in such a way that future mutations will be fewer and more like the flu. In other words, a respite from the pandemic. Even issues like mandates could become less political. Plus there is room for the economy to grow. That infrastructure law may put more back to work and the BBB Act with some of its provisions would help the working class
The biggest problem for the Republicans is that Trump is the most likely nominee. His record on the virus iess not seen as adequate. And many of the lockdowns were on his watch. Americans may be tired of both him and Biden by 2024. I also suspect that Biden will be challenged in the primaries.
It could be a much more fluid situation than people believe
