Theres not so healthy people who should take the vaccine and theres very healthy people who have natural immunity that dont need it.
What's stupid is vaccine mandates.
What's even more cataclysmicly stupid is when a Supreme Court Justice enters the following bogus claims during oral arguments regarding vaccine mandates...
"Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor falsely claimed that 100,000 children are in “serious condition” from Covid during oral arguments on the Biden administration’s employer vaccine mandate on Friday.
“We have hospitals that are almost at full capacity with people severely ill on ventilators. We have over 100,000 children, which we’ve never had before, in serious condition, and many on ventilators,” Sotomayor claimed."

Being a dumbass and thinking you can't get sick if you are vaccinated!!!! Just like thinking you can't get it a second time, because you "heard" you would have natural immunity. I've known at least 5 people to get it twice.
Vaccine DOES NOT = CURE
You can still get the flu you have the flu vaccine. The effects won't be as strong and you will in 99.99% of cases will not end up in the hospital.
Problem is this:
If you get the flu vaccine, you still can get the flu from other people coughing or sneezing in your general vicinity.
Same with Covid....yet people still go into crowded places without masks, ie restaurants, bars, movie theaters, closed office spaces, knowing this is a very contagious variant. Also, it is most contagious BEFORE you have symptoms, so your friend has it but doesn't know he does. He coughs or sneezes around you and (as John Madden would say) BOOM!!!! You got it.
As one of my friends in the medical research side told me a couple days ago....

So for a long time, everyone was dignosed with covid... They wasn't a flu diagnoses, strep, staph, e-coli, Haemophilus influenzae --- type of bacterial infections diagnosed for a long time, because they weren't paying the excess cash on those diagnoses for respiratory impaired patients...

The vax does not make you immune 100%. Not one vaccine or booster has claimed 100% immunity. It will help protect you and others. What it does do is...
Makes it more difficult to get infected
Should you get infected, your infection is less severe
Should you get infected, it makes it less likely you will transmit it to others.
The vaccine did well against original covid and alpha through Delta. Omicron is a different beast. The vaccine was not specifically designed to combat Omicron. This may come as a surprise to some of you, but it will do less well to the next big variants that follow Omicron, too The virus is evolving. The vaccine so far is the same.
Add to that, the amount of antibodies your body produces goes down over time which is why the boosters are necessary.
All the leaders are getting thraxxed while half of them promote the anti vax propaganda. It is a giant grift. Like the "steal". Promoting culture wars and taking your money.
The Republicans are going to wonder why their vote totals will go down 1-2% next election cycle. It won't be because of a steal.

If the vaccine is 95% effective and 200 million people take it, that's a highly effective vaccine and 190 million get protection, but 10 million don't.
Obviously this is over simplified but anecdotes aren't data and rare things happen, rarely but they happen. If the breakthrough infections are the only thing that the TV, Radio, IG and Facebook are talking about it's easy to miss the wood for the trees.

Those “1 in a million” sure do seem to have a knack of popping up in pockets of hundreds. And with omicron they seem to like popping up in the tens of thousands in places that are 100% vaccinate. So much for “super rare breakthrough infections.”

They dont give you immunity at all? They give ##% immunity depending on the vaccine, the amount of booster, and how long since your last. They are meant to make you resistant to catching it. THey are ment to keep you from dying. They are meant to make you less likely to spread this. I would be interested to see your source for your position of 0 immunity.
