I keep asking a simple question....if there are people in disadvantaged communities that do not have ID, why not make a major push to help those people get one.
Of course, a person cannot live without an ID and now must produce an ID to show they are the person that possess the vaccination card. 
The list of things you need an ID for is huge....so again, help those who have none get one.
Don't fuck with voting laws that expect identification to show you are the registered voter.

An idiot wouldn't know that the senate filibuster was put in place to force deliberation and inhibit knee jerk policy changes. But an opportunist knows that they can change their argument when it suits thir advantage. An average person can see that its not a minority of Senators that favor keeping the filibuster.
A moron would say that a minority should not hold up a vote in the senate (even though the majority are holding things up) and doesn't realize he is in the minority.

Actually, I think it is very short-sighted for the dem's to want to blow up the filibuster. Do they not realize how this will come back to haunt them when the conservatives are in power?
The pres is simple majority, the house is simple majority and the senate has the 60 vote threshold to insure that the extreme elements, on either side, are not allowed to just ram their garbage thru.

I'm cautiously optimistic that this is yet another wasteful distraction from this lame administration's path of destruction.
I seriously doubt Manchin or Sinema are on board with the filibuster change. The more inept Biden gets the more desperate Democrats get to "show something" for the midterms.

You show up at the precinct your registered in with an ID and you can vote... once.
What the Democrats want to do with voting is a disaster in the making.

Trump actually appointed judges who believe in and support the Constitution. Garland wants the FBI and DOJ hiding under your bed waiting for you to do something wrong.
Actually Mexico was kind of paying for the wall. They were keeping the illegals in their country while awaiting asylum or other immigration hearings. That saved us millions and millions of dollars. The message also hugely slowed the flood of illegal immigrants into the country, which saved states millions in educational, medical and other benefit costs.
