The Peacemaker in the new Suicide Squad movie was fricken hilarious !!
John Cena is great !!
I'm sure his solo act is even funnier !
I watched the Eternals last night, ehhh.... IDK, I gotta watch it a couple more times to really get the gist of it I suppose. Good movie, excellent actors.

The Eternals is Marvel Studio who though "Hey we got Guardians of the Galaxy to work!" forgetting they had James Gunn involved. Should have had Taika Waititi involved in the Eternals because even as a passing Marvel fan I was the "WTF are The Eternals?" Pass.
Under the direction of James Gunn you get... well hell you get Peacemaker. Cheesy sometimes, in your face about todays stuff sometimes and making you laugh most of the time. It's Gritty, it's dark, it's campy and it is pretty good. A little worried they'll be hard pressed to squeeze much out of it.

Haven't seen ETERNALS yet but will keep my expectations low. Figured it's worth watching for "free". Wasn't crazy about THE SUICIDE SQUAD but did like the Peacemaker character, so will probably check it out.
Read that WB will put their 2022 releases on streaming after a 45 day theatrical run, so I'll wait until late April or early May to catch THE BATMAN.

@Bud. Angry much? US labor costs and existing infrastructure abroad keep most things out of reach for mass consumer goods. My phone is produced and assembled in South Korea. I Believe iphones are made in several countries not just communist China.
All the cookware I have though are US made, my car Japanese and US but my favorite rifle is Swiss.

Peacemaker is to DC as Deadpool is to Marvel, hilarious, irreverent, and just about as many and bat-shit as you can get. Gunn seems to be going that route with the show so far. I only hope he has Cena starting conversations with his helmet soon, that will sell the deal for me.

@InSearchOfStarfish. Yes. There's some gratuitous T&A with Peacemaker banging Annie Sturphausen (Crystal Mudry). The show is batshit crazy and way more fun than The Eternals IMHO (even with the delectable Gemma Chan) .

The eternals was amazing how much back story the shoved in that movie. THAT was great story telling.
