A MIT scientist said on Fox News a few days ago said that the vaccine
may cause Parkinson's disease.
Certainly some unvaccinated will die but you statistically have a 99.5% chance
of surviving covid. Most of the people who die of covid -19 were over the age
of 65. I believe the % was about 92%. The younger you are the less likely
you will die of covid. Yet the govt has wrecked the lives of millions of young people
with their covid policies.
The idea that the govt. will try to save lives at all costs has gotten damn expensive
and has done plenty of damage to the American socieity as a whole. Totally impractical and
probably won't be done again.
I'm a senior citizen who got covid with mild symptons.

But 75% of the deaths are 65 and older
and 93% of the deaths are 50 and older.

This video in the first post is from November, which is before boosters were recommended for everyone who were "fully vaccinated."
Boosters were recommended because we learned more and the virus changed with the Delta variant.
Today, January 17, 2022, if you are fully vaccinated AND boosted, and you catch Covid, you are still VERY UNLIKELY to be in the hospital.
Today, January 17, 2022, if you are unvaccinated and catch Covid, you are VERY LIKELY -- 17 times MORE LIKELY -- to be in the hospital, and 20 times MORE LIKELY to end up dead.
It remains that most of those hospitalized with Covid are the unvaccinated.

I didn't hear anyone jumping up and down all concerned about the 858 flu deaths in a 2 year span BEFORE this pandemic.

Didn't hear a public outcry over the 22,296 unintentional drowning deaths for 0-19 over the past 10 years....which is a 2,229 a year average, far more than Covid deaths.

IF one were to watch daily coverage of significant events, each on CNN, MSNBC, any of the 3 broadcast networks, and compare the coverage to what Fox has, it is clear Fox lies, and supports it by either providing alternative facts (like posting old news but using it for an agenda like the original poster of this thread), or only shares enough of the truth to support the agenda that viewers want to hear -- because they can't handle the whole truth.
Say what you want about CNN, but when you see live coverage of an event, you learn the truth.
Fox strategically edits out the facts that the ReTrumplicans and alt-Right can't handle.
It's all a money game.
It's like Dr. Fauci pissing off Rand Paul for confronting Senator Paul about raising money on his website for the "Fire Dr. Fauci" cause -- which is just padding the pockets of the Red Disease. Fauci also shared that he has death threats thanks to people like Rand Paul. We saw it live on CNN, but Fox edited out the reason Fauci confronted him, and made it seem like Fauci was the aggressor and for no reason.
Same thing for Marshall, where Marshall brought up that he couldn't find Fauci's financial disclosure and made a big deal out of it. Fauci explained that it's public information and all he had to do was ask for it. Off-mic, Fauci called him a "moron" -- and Fox made it seem like there was no reason, but in fact Fauci was telling a truth.
If you believe CNN is telling lies, you can't be helped.

A few things.
We can't over look kids with pre-existing conditions and obesity as well as teachers and school staff.
We used to be concerned about disease transmission. A kid can get infected and bring the disease home to an older relative. That's why we have had had mitigations in schools.
Early on, there was data to suggest that closing schools helped prevent some community transmission.
Later, we discovered that transmission in schools was actually significantly lower than in the community.
We then found that there is no difference in case rates between counties that had schools open vs. remote learning, except for in the South, where there were fewer community-wide mitigation efforts.
Not sure how effect masks in schools would be since transmission in schools is significantly lower to begin with. If people want to breathe cleaner air, perhaps they should invest in cheap Corsi boxes instead. Much less divisive policy.

What's sad is that even when anti-vaxxers post sources, they don't know how to read them. The NBC article shows 2 shots efficacy slipping against Omicron, but it's still better than not being vaccinated. You'd know that if you read past the title.

CNN only tells ONE side of major issues. It isn't about lies, it is about fair and balanced journalism.
I personally get much of my news from the Wall Street Journal, Reuters and The Hill.
CNN is so far left, you are can't actually trust that you are getting the 'news'.
