Nut Milk

I was gifted an Almond Cow over the holidays. Is anyone familiar with this machine? If you enjoy animal milk alternatives, this is an excellent machine.
It's also zero waste, if you use the "pulp".

I have read plenty of recipes online, have any of you had any success or tips on making plant based goodies?

Almond milk is considered to be a goitrogenic food. That means it contains chemicals that can harm the thyroid when consumed in large amounts. For people whose thyroid function is low, you must refrain from consuming almond milk or consume it in moderation.

goitrogeneic food. Almonds?

Almonds. Most nuts have some amount of selenium, which is a thyroid-healthy nutrient. But almonds also happen to have a high amount of magnesium, which, according to a study in Metabolism Journal, can keep your thyroid working smooth as butter. (Or almond butter.)

I love chocolate almond milk. But it takes 1.1 gallon of water to grow 1 almond. So I'm conflicted.

There are a ton of alt-milks now and I have attempted to have as many of those nut juices, rice juices and other juices as possible. My verdict. Oat milk is the best overall and the best Almond milk is by Calafia Farms. That said, I wish I could just drink milk but the stuff does not agree with me at all. So here I go, drinking oak milk with cinnamon toast crunch and feeling like I'm drinking horchata from the bottom of the bowl.

Raw Almonds also have trace elements that help to prevent cancer. Like many other bitter nuts.

Apricots are #1 , apples seeds, peaches ect.

Oatmilk is my favorite.
You can also use the pulp for a breakfast bowl.

Also the extra creamy cashew is pretty good, I've made coffee creamer for a few friends. You can make vegan cheese and other yummy things with the pulp.

Rice milk is whatever. I'll use it if I have to but it's not my 1st choice.

The plain extra creamy oatmilk seems like the closest to full fat cows milk, it's great to cook with.

Cows milk fucks me up.
