Angler. sadly no and i wish i did because they need to be in jail asap. I hadnt installed my dashcam and i definitely regret it so i am doing that this week.
I had literally JUST merged onto the freeway, got behind them and was just chilling/minding my business. Not even 15 minutes later the passenger sticks his arm out of the window and starts shooting towards everyone behind him. I am just glad that i was paying attention and able to react quickly because I was first in line smh.
overall PLEASE be safe since idk if they were caught or not. its obvious that they've done it a few times and are bold as fuck to be doing that at 1:30pm on a sunday ...

Not in a million years would I ever think I'd experience something like that especially since it wasn't a road rage incident and nothing provoked it. That shit was scary! I'm just glad that it was the day time and that I was able to see what was going on before it happened
Idk if it's on the news or not sorry I don't watch TV but if you want to call the department in that area and ask them you can (I actually encourage it because it would make me feel a lot better knowing if they were found or not). I was on the 5 heading from LA right before the pioneer exit before the 605. I believe that's Norwalk I'm not quite sure. I will be calling and following up as well because oddly they never asked me for a description even though I was able to see the driver clearly.
Not quite sure what would be the purpose of lying about something like that if that's what you're implying. I just wanted to make sure that those driving from football and other events were safe just in case the guys weren't caught

A couple of things….
Not every shooting makes the news, especially if no one is injured.
I’m guessing they didn’t catch them, otherwise you would have been contacted. If you think about it, unless they are right there, or have really good info, there are just two many cars and too much distance to sort thru. It took them weeks to catch that guy that was doing freeway shootings last year, and also the one where someone was killed.

Thank you everyone I do appreciate the love. I have the worst anxiety driving now but I just have to keep reassuring myself that it was a 1 in a million incident and that it more than likely won't happen again.

He was shooting towards me but I wouldn't say he was shooting at me because he wasn't specifically targeting me. Saying he shot at me would imply or cause people to assume that I was the target when in reality it seemed like it was any and everyone in that lane. Hell I had just got behind him so for all I know he was aiming at the car behind me. Again, I wasn't going to stick around to find out
As I previously stated. Idk if it made the news because I don't watch TV nor do I need to look it up. I was there and know good and well what happened so if you need validation then you can call the department in that area. Not all crimes make the news so I don't know what to say about that. Contact the police department . It would be the one on Brookshire in Downey if you're looking for some kind of reassurance

My ex was an Assistant DA in San Diego. She once told me that only a fraction of the violent crime makes it to the news. Some really heinous stuff never gets reported. At the time she was working one case where an apartment dweller stabbed her neighbor in the eye and then attacked and stabbed the cops that showed up to break it up. Not a peep on the news.
