It’s strange how people think Florida is the only place where you are free to do what you want with respect to COVID.
There are a lot of states like that in the South or West.
Not only that, but I’ve been living in South Florida for two months, and I haven’t found it different at all in terms of masking or business closings than Orange County. Similar number of people wear masks in stores. Some stores here demand people wear masks.
Mask mandates don’t seem to make a sizable difference.
Maybe it’s different in other California counties.
To me, this Florida freedom shit is just political hype. DeSantis has a good PR team.

It’s possible that maybe things changed in OC in December. Here in Florida it’s like the way the OC was in November with respect to COVID.

Gotta assume that you're numbers are NOT adjusted for age or other factors?
That's BIG, last I read is that FL has a significantly higher average age than say CA.
