I have not been paying attention to news recently. Ignorance is bliss.
To me, the “news” is designed to get an emotional rise out of people. To make them outraged about something. It’s not just about letting people know what’s happening.

That said, cancel culture is bullshit. Anyone who tries to censor, shout down, or shut down the free exchange of ideas, even ones you are uncomfortable with or disagree with, is biting off way more than they can chew.
There are several countries that have one allowed point of view...and miraculously they say they have free elections, where the person in power is always reelected by 99% of the vote. I strongly suggest you visit one of these countries if you can. Maybe more than one if you survive the first -- start slow in Venezuela, move on to Cuba, and then take your pick of North Korea or Iran either one will do...nice knowing ya!

there's only one "race"...which is the "Human Race"...if someone is inquiring about your personal classification the proper term would be "ethnicity" or "ethnic backgroud".
If they just have to know which, now is totally not proper.
