Trooth... Very well said dude. It irritates me too regarding the horrible grammer.

Send them all back to school.

The "grammer" here is almost as bad as the spelling.

I do so love how people argue over "literal"
"My dick literally fell off"
"This literally blew my mind"
An arguement that has gone on for centuries. Living languages are funny that way; as time goes on all our bad grammar, vocabulary and spelling force changes over time.
Odd that we're having this discussion here of all places but at the same time it makes sense--clear communication is important.
Meanwhile, I'll continue to be lazy š
And
Wordy!

What's worse than effect/affect is that a lot of millennial dummies are running around and can't write in cursive. They never even learned to sign their name. They print their name on letters, contracts, deeds, marriage certificates, etc.
That's pretty pathetic.
|
|
The effect we have on society will affect us for the rest of our lives. So pay attention people.
|
|
No longer teach cursive in school? What public schools are you referring to?
|
|
Do you know how many years the Constitution of the United States and its amendments are taught in school? Hell of a lot more than I had to go through. You have to MEMORIZE THE DAMMED THING. Why do I know this? Because I remember days of helping mine read from 3x5s. Huge part of your grade in I forget what year of elementary. Covered again in Junior High and High School.
