January 6 was an attempted coup. Treason is one of the few crimes specifically defined in the Constitution. It’s defined as “levying war” against the U.S. or “giving aid and comfort” to its enemies. Biden was legitimately elected President. Trump lied about the election being illegitimate and encouraged his followers to violently attached the Capitol to prevent Biden from becoming President. In what universe is that not considered treason?

Trump holds a rally at the Capital because, He and many others felt the election was stolen, The rally was held there to support the Republicans and Mike Pence to challenge the election not overthrow the government. He and others wanted an investigation into some of the irregularities that had gone on during the election and some of the Republicans were prepared to do this. Furthermore he wanted Mike Pence to kick the electorial votes of some of the contentious states back to those states for review instead of approving them. That is what January 6th rally was.
IT was not an Insurrection.
the definition of Insurrection is as follows "a usually violent attempt to take control of a government"
if your going to stage an Insurrection you would have weapons and yet no weapons were recovered that day...
It's interesting that the FBI and the Capital Police knew about rogue elements that were going to embed themselves in that rally and they did nothing!!!!!!
Furthermore Trump ask Nancy Pelosi if about sending the National Guard to help keep order with the protest and she rejected it.
On the day of the Protest, we had Ray Epps who was enciting the crowd and trying to get them to enter the Capital(which is also called the Peoples house, I guess its not that anymore since democrats are to elitist for that sort of thing). Turns out Mr. Epps is a FBI agent or an Informant.
Its also known that there were other members of that crowd that were in fact FBI agents however the FBI has refused to say how many agents were involved in the so called insurrection.
Another person of interest was one John Sullivan whom was standing next to Ashley Babitt who was shot and killed by an unknown Capital police officer. He filmed video inside the capital and it turns out this guy is "ANTIFA", ..
then there was the fact that the Capital Police let people in to the capital while all this was going on and you had a bunch of Grandmothers and unsuspecting individuals taking pictures and selfies inside the capital, yet this was some big insurrection.
You had AOC lie and say that she was being attacked and had to hide and she was not even in the capital when all of this went on...
the capital building is under surveillance so you should be able to see the entire thing go down but its funny how none of that video or very little of it has been made available to the public.
Also no Capital Police died that day and it has been confirmed that all the officers who died, died after the so called insurrection, with there deaths having nothing to do with what occurred on Jan. 6th.
