OP is clearly a loon. However he's not wrong about how arbitrary the rules are. Seems simple to me. Set some specific measurable parameters and track them. Then apply rules accordingly. But this state is not using science. Maybe im wrong because the nanobots have taken over my brain.

The new darling of right wing media is Bill Mahar. I watched the last two shows last night on HBO. He wants everything opened up and all Covid restrictions and mandates removed.
I agree with him.
Here are the facts that he rattled off (from memory):
99.98% of children are unaffected by Covid.
75% of those who die from Covid are over 65 (so protect those people and allow everyone else to go about life normally)’
and
99% of all Covid deaths since last June have been those who are unvaccinated and we shouldn’t monitor each person’s personal health choices.
So yes, we are all fed up with these restrictions and we all want to get back to normal and I 100% agree with this now.
Congratulations. I don’t give a fuck if you’re vaccinated or unvaccinated anymore. But if you die or are seriously fucked up by Covid, it is entirely on you (of course). People need to live (or die) with their choices. Good luck (to the unvaccinated).

according to a friend I have (who is in a position to know) a large percentage of those over 65 in retirement homes who "died" of COVID were in Hospice care - meaning they had 6 months or less. the question then becomes did they die "of" COVID or "with" COVID.

I went to a Christmas party that was held on December 18. At least 9 people came down with Covid who attended that party, including a 25 year old male and 23 year old female; both are still having breathing problems. The guy told me that for 3 days he thought he was going to die because he couldn't breathe. He was coughing uncontrollably when I met with him Tuesday night over drinks. I just learned that he is unvaccinated.
The others who got invected were vaccinated but had minor symptoms. I never caught Covid, but I'm going to get an antibody test soon to see if I had it but was asymptomatic.
The vaccinated will be just fine. The mRNA vaccines have been proven to be incredibly safe, given to hundreds of millions of people without any major side effects. Catching Covid is clearly much worse.
If you're still considering getting vaccinated, do not get the one-dose J&J vaccine. That vaccine isn't nearly as effective as effective as Moderna and Pfizer (mRNA vaccines), which are the ones you should get.

I got the J&J a long time ago because I was going to visit some folks. Last month I tested positive - didn't know I had it, no symptoms, nothing. Then I caught the flu (Covid negative) and it kicked my ass.

He just died of Covid after being in the ICU for a month.
Did you hear about his death on Fox News? I doubt it.
So Fox News called him a hero for resisting the vaccine mandate and for refusing to get vaccinated, yet they won't follow up and report on his death from Covid? Is that the ethical and responsible thing to do?
