I’ve dated many Russian and Ukrainian women; they are all over the place around where I live. It’s probably be one of the reasons I’m so interested in this war.
I went on a couple of dates with a Ukrainian over the last month. She did not believe Putin/Russia would kill Ukrainians since they are essentially the same people. She was wrong.
Putin is the real enemy here, not the Russians.

I read earlier that the Mayor of Kiev, former professional boxer Vitali Klitschko, who also vowed to stay in Kiev and fight despite being famous and very wealthy, is having captured Russian soldiers (mostly around age 19) call their parents in Russia to let them know they are ok. I’m sure any atrocities will also be shared with family members.
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, has turned out to be an amazingly brave leader. He was offered to leave Ukraine because Putin wants him and his family dead, yet he is leading the fight in Kiev. This guy has got balls.

Based on an internet search, Volodymyr Zelenskyy is worth $96 million and Vitali Klitschko Is worth $80 million. These guys stayed back to defend their country rather than flee to safety, even after it was offered to them. You have to admire their bravery, sacrifice, and patriotism.
