i won't put you up for DMFA...you are smarter than that...that DUDE was in a class by himself
the cries were that they were stupid and the americans would suffer this extra cost
a few things
that extra cost thing...if true btw, is a tiny bit laughable...why would that be laughable again?
shit, even biden made mention of it this week, but on a diff topic, BUT same fucking thing
maybe calc the additional cost of those tariffs to the american people...that would be a good first step of this thing...we can discuss if it's meaningful
OF COURSE, you are missing out on true agenda and greatest part of the whole thing

News flash, Brain Dead Biden is president.

Silly Remo, didn’t you know we will be reeling from trump’s mistakes for decades to come?
His poor decisions you were proud are being proved impotent and incompetent.
Which is how you are every Tuesday.

yep...just keep repeating that over and over

Funny how Republicans no longer want Trump mentioned. Are they that embarrassed by him?
|
|
He is not electable!
He will not get the nomination!
Go back to La-La Land or Euphoria Land, or wherever Democrats / Libtards all think that we live!
Go hug a tree!
Go run up inflation at record rates!
Go exterminate good paying American jobs and give Putin a huge cash flow influx!
I fucking hate Democrats!

+1 on that last point.
The world could be burning down and they would *still* be talking about Trump
Fucking idiots

I guess I spoke too soon in another thread.
DeSantis is the one to watch. Very smart politician and overall. Seems to have taken positions on COVID early that keep growing in popularity these days.
Has a tough savvy team that fights hard.
Only downside in my opinion is that he doesn’t come across as super friendly. Youngkin seems to want to follow the same policies, but with a smile. Americans like that.
Personally. however, I don’t agree with him on much.

Trump is still the front runner for the Republican nomination in 2024 by high double digits. Nobody else is even close. Even if he is in jail by then he would probably still win as a write in candidate. You have lost your party to kool aid drinking cultists, which reveals what Republicans were always about even before Trump. White supremacy. Accept what you are instead of whining about Democrats drinking lattes like weak pouty bitches. We did not try to overthrow the Republic. You did. And none of you possess the minimum amount of character required to feel shame and horror for what your reckless beliefs have wrought.

wow...holy shit

sherkahn It's quite clear you have a hard on for Trump.

Seriously, you are worse than watersports.

"You have lost your party to kool aid drinking cultists,..."
When the new POTUS has fucked up everything the previous POTUS had in place and you still whine about the past your the one drinking koolaid bud.
You just cant pull your head out of the ground to see straight.

Just pulled out my Jimmy Carter cardigan from the attic
With energy prices where they are, seems like a good time
Plus his idiot twin brother is running the place now
So, wanted to be fashionable
Trump will have brain hemorrhage before 2024, so no worries there
Drooling in a wheelchair is his future
Time for new blood from both crap parties

If Trump fucked up our economy with this stupid tariff against China, then Biden doubled down after Trump because he was scared shitless to do the right thing instead of pissing off the dumb fucks in the swamp.
Every fucking sensible person can tell you that those tariffs hurt Americans and American businesses more than anything. Its 15% more passed on to consumers. Those Chinese suppliers didn't have to pay a single dime. Higher the cost, lesser the consumers. How simple can this be that neither Trump nor Biden could understand is beyond me.
Even with all the tariffs, our deficit against China reached historic high. We are talking about HISTORIC HIGH. And we are no longer China's #1 trade partner even with historic high in deficits.
Meaning our leverage actually went down with the tariffs.
And who can blame China for not following through with purchases when WE are the one slapping more sanctions and restrictions right after Phase 1 of the agreement. Part of that agreement was no more restrictions. So technically Trump broke that agreement, Biden double downed on it but slapping ignorant sanctions that does nothing. So Huawei no longer sell phones to US. They created Honor to sell instead and are making crazy bank on them. Who knew the world can't afford $1000usd Iphone but all those South America, South East Asia and African nations want their brand instead of ours.
And we forced Huawei to develop their own chips and semiconductor sector. Now they are making chips for their own instead of buying ours. Talk about a double whammy.
If we don't reverse this tariff bullshit, we are looking at 8% inflation for the next 2 years. What does that mean? Meaning every dollar you save at the bank for 1 year, you lose 8% in value.
Get it? You lose 8% by saving your money in your bank account. Per year. For the next 2 years.
Thanking fucking you Trump and Bidumb. We need fucking competent economists and engineers in the white house. Not some reality tv host and a senile old fuck that can't even conduct proper diplomacy which he's been in the foreign relations committee as a senator for all of his useless fucking life.
And you know what Bidumb likes Taiwan? Ask his fucking son Hunter Bidumb and Pelosi and Terry Kuo. How many hidden hundreds of millions have the made in this Covid shit.
This past 6 years have been the most corrupted presidencies this nation have ever had. Its fucking disgusting we have dropped to such low levels. Even Zelenskiy is like holy fuck, where's the weapons you promised 4 years ago? And holy fuck, I Zelenskiy did everything you Bidumb asked when you and your fucked up son visited us 6 times in the past 10 years. Where's the support when I did your bidding? Why didn't you let us in NATO like you promised?
Where's our weapons and where's the Americans? We ain't no Afghanistan, are we?
Shit. Taiwan is staring right at this shit. And they ain't even recognized by UN like Ukraine. Them Taiwanese are totally fucked.

@fuckslikeajackrabbit
You make very little sense. Republicans are the ones relitigating the 2020 election every day. There is nothing extraordinary about a president undoing the policies of a predecessor from the opposite party. That is pretty much the way it works. For better or for worse. It is obvious your parents were 1st cousins who cheated on each other with their respective siblings and you are the hellspawn of one of these infidelities. But that is your problem. Not mine.

“China actually bought none of those additional $200 billion worth of American exports,” he said.”
They no longer had to because Biden didn’t give a shit to enforce it.
Another L for the Democrats.

OP,
As others have mentioned Biden has kept the Trump tariffs in place so I am assuming he had a reason for doing so since he immediately cancelled almost everything else that Trump put into place via executive order.
Also there are a number of articles from reputable sources regarding American companies and companies from other countries that were reducing or eliminating their manufacturing in China. For some of the companies the tariffs were part or all of the reason. For other companies it is a cumulative situation of increasing costs, government regulation, requirements to share the company's IP with a Chinese company, etc. Exactly how much of this movement was partially caused by the tariffs we will probably never know.
Unfortunately most of that manufacturing is not coming back to the U.S. It is going to Vietnam and other countries with cheap labor and without problems related to intellectual property, etc.
