^You don't know if THOSE 13 soldiers surrendered or not. Its true that 80 something Ukrainian soldiers surrendered but no one knows if those 13 did or not.
Its clear that Putin isn't just looking to occupy those 2 "independent" regions. by taking over Odessa and its second largest industrial city Kharkiv means Russia wants all of Ukraine.
Russians can careless about economic sanctions. They just reached deals with India and China and Central Asian nations on food and oil supplies which are their major exports. All trades will use Yuan and Gold instead of Dollar and Euro.
The only one in the world that can stop Putin is if Zelenskiy announced they will not join NATO, and will remain military free and neutral like Finland and remove from their constitution that getting into NATO is required.
Those are the terms. I say for 30 million Ukrainians' lives sake, Zelenskiy should do it or there won't be anything left.
