I studied in Odessa from 1969 to 1973. We all lived together. In Odessa, the people lived better than in my small homeland in Samara, but no one envied anyone, everyone treated each other like brothers. And what now. I think the bulk of the Ukrainian people are friendly and want to live in peace with the Russians, and the Nazis must be destroyed ruthlessly. They are ruthless killers of civilians in the Donbass and now on the territory of Ukraine. I am for peace and friendship and let the people of Ukraine and not a gang of Nazis decide their own fate. Let there be friendship between peoples and of course a long and stable peace

There is a growing Nazi problem in Germany, too. Of course an issue like that needs to be addressed before they grow and join forces with other fascist groups, but Putin using it as an excuse to take over a sovereign nation is laughable.

Crazy progressives hurt the Democrats like the far right hurts the GOP, but Democrats are far more center leaning than the GOP. They appeal to a lot more people, which is why Dems are frustrated with the SCOTUS situation. It doesn’t reflect the interests of a majority of society now.
And you guys don’t remember that there was a lynching in California recently? It was all over the news? Have you been to the Deep South? It’s fucking scary.

it seems like everyone the left nominates stays true to the left and further...people nominated from the right drift to the left and keep things semi moderate/left-leaning
maybe the two senators will capitulate and they can change the rules scotus, add a few states...the left wouldn't need to complain again

Almost every poll done by just about every pollster of the genpop (not just Dems or Reps) shows Americans are fairly conservative and don't like a lot of boat-rocking from either direction.
Center Dems/Center Reps are by far the biggest % of the genpop
Far left Dems represent about 7% of the Dems, yet are running Joe's show
Part of the reason his poll numbers have tanked
If he moved center like Clinton did, he could still have a shot at saving his Congressional colleagues from getting run over in the mid-terms.
Right now, it doesn't appear that he's making that move
If not, they will get creamed come November as Independents are running away from Joe, basically leaving his core of about 35% that will vote for a D no matter what.
Kinda like the 35% that seem to like Trump, no matter how far down his throat he shoves his foot.
