Yawn.
Gone are the days of the US being the world's policeman.
Haven't we been lectured on this for a VERY long time?
No more US lives for foreign oil, or something like that.
Putin is USSR old School, sending soldiers with nothing more than sticks against third reich tanks comes to mind.
Bottom line:
Russia needs the Ukrane resources.
Until you solve that, you can't solve anything.

I don't know anyone that would want to waste resources going against the USSR, er I mean Russia.
Looks like we are reverting back to the post WWII cold war.
Good place to be for the industrial military complex.
But, I could be wrong.
