china and russia were in on it from long ago
planning on how to circumvent the sanctions that were sure to come
now you know why russia doesn't want any of these countries to have missiles and air defense protection...like israel has...could be a different fight if had some defense and offense
quest for nukes is going up...japan lobbying for them now
that seems to be all that's working for them. the equipment looks like it was ready for the junkyard...maybe they think they can leave it in ukraine when finished

It’s the one reference I knew you would get outside of Saturday morning cartoons.

i would say taiwan is pleased...or pleasantly pleased at the global outcry/support
maybe how shitty the russian conv. war machine is progressing
china military has its own issues also...the shit might be in better working condition/newer...not sure it works better

^ there in lies the rub.
Ukraine is getting all kinds of support because it's part of Europe.
But if this wasn't a place where "white people" are being endangered by strange foreign forces, the rest of the nations would not put up so much of an effort to defend, and Taiwan knows this. And China has the economic resources to fight back economically where Russia does not.

OK ms reid
china is certainly going to school with this thing.
they would get smoked financially with the same type of sanctions...maybe harder...most of their shit is in dollars...everything the chinese leaders own outside of china is known...they see how the rich russians are being treated
our problem...we haven't decoupled enough from them. they already made comments about our prescription drugs a few years ago...nice little threat
taiwan has been diligently making itself indispensable and picking up allies
