Starfish (the sea animal, not the butthole) just opened up in Newport Beach.
Went there last night, and itβs been some of the best Asian food I have had that is not home cooked or on the other side of the Pacific.

Is that Starfish related to the Starfish in Laguna Beach? If so, yes, some of the best Asian fusion food around.
I would add Playa Mesa in Costa Mesa for modern Mexican and Tequila and Station Craft Brewery (they have a full bar) in Dana Point. Great new places with friendly, attentive staff, great food and overall fun environment.

It's always nice hearing from you! This Starfish place must be great because I checked it on Yelp and it had high ratings. At least, the one in Laguna. Luna has been dying to find more mexican restaurants. We've gone to a few but felt like they weren't as authentic as the places she usually goes for so I know she'll really appreciate the suggestion. And as far as Station Craft Brewery we are definitely going to check it out. Luna and I love a good beer. We 3 should go grab a few drinks some time!

While I am certainly flattered by the offer and would love to go out with you two for drinks and shenanigans, I would have to wear a costume, you guys would be very difficult for me to explain to whoever I inevitably would run into lol.

Starfish restaurant in Laguna Beach is really good! Very much worth it. Drinks are pretty good too.
