Winds were so strong last night that they were tearing through the trees, sounded like people screaming.

We are in a drought. Do not assume that this winter blizzard will make too much of a dent on what this state needs.
We need a full fledge typhoon season the likes they see in Africa and Indian subcontinent.
I’ve begun to invest in water management and have been doing my homework (pros and cons) and the outlook for the next 10 years should be a real eye opener.

Today the LA River had a ton of water running down the channel. There have been 4 or 5 such days this year already.

Commiefornia has 840 miles of coast adjacent the Pacific Ocean and the Sierra Range on its Eastern border.
But yet with a Progressive bureaucracy we manage to run out of water and make sure our forests are NOT cleared for fire season because fire prevention bucks the global warming narrative.

Carlsbad is fully operational.
It's a great supplement but de-sal is not the answer entirely.
Think of all of that rain water that needs to be captured for Farmer's crops,
Parks, Golf Courses and many other things that don't need full water treatment
plant purity levels.
California government is and has been mis-managed for decades !

To start with, we need to have our demolition experts just blow up the portions of the LA River, San Gabriel River and Santa Ana River , where the concrete bottoms are and then drill down into the groundwater table and let nature just suck it down !
Irwindale already has rock pits built that should be converted into reservoirs , I think Riverside does as well. It's not rocket science, make it happen !

Officially, we have 68” - 72” of snow up here in the SB Mountains. My car is still buried and my road isn’t passable even if I could get my car out. I don’t anticipate being able to get out for a least 3 or 4 days.
