This is one of the many reasons why I will continue to be face-in. Aside from my corporate work, people are risking their livelihoods and limited travel option by being face out. More power to those who are out, like yourself! I don’t see a decrease in income because my head is chopped out or my face is blurred.
It’s going to get worse and as we see the crackdowns progress even more due to FOSTA/SESTA, this work will never get any safer. It’s already hard for in-coming providers to start let alone facial recognition. I think gents will see some huge change coming in the next few years in how we market.

I’ve consider hiding my face after all these new technological advances- just wonder if it’s too late already.

OMG !
My FB , Instagram, Twitter , Only Fans , etc ... Pictures were highjacked !
AI can't tell anybody that, AI can only tell who somebody is in the picture !

Ugh this is terrifying. I’ve read about this but haven’t heard of an account from someone it’s happened to.
I made the choice to be face out since my tattoos are so recognizable. If someone I know in person came across my ads there is no hiding it’s me (can’t blur out my whole body) and I decided it didn’t bother me if strangers recognized me from ads. (Like what you see? You know where to find me ‘wink wink’😅)
Being denied entry to a country sounds horrible though. Has anyone heard of other countries besides the US doing this? Would it be only for ads that are currently running or would they be taking inactive accounts into consideration as well? Surely HX is not nearly as much on the radar as some of the larger more well know sites yea? Or is it scanning the whole fucking internet?
|
|
So crazy
|
|
I’ve only heard of the US turning away girls from other countries. But who knows how it will evolve.
Active & inactive ads on sites that are accessible by the public
I’m glad HX is more secure than most
|
|
I mean, I wouldn’t count of HX to be more secure. But if you have any active ads, I would comb through and send a DMCA notice and lawyer up.

Did somebody say facial!?!! Oh, wait, no. Never mind.

On the one hand, I'm not naive enough to think the CBP is above using facial recognition for this purpose. On the other hand, I find the logic of using facial recognition to find SW and deny them entry to be exceedingly problematic unless they've been previously booked. For starters, time for "companionship" is a grey area. Secondly, sex work isn't even illegal in all 50 states.
Though I understand the argument that they maybe are coming into the country to do work without authorization, I'm sure there is some way to justify it as a "consulting visit." Thirdly, how do you separate adult film workers from escorting? On the basis of pictures in an ad? If this is the case then could an internet star who has deepfakes posted on HX or PD get denied entry on the basis of these photos?
It just doesn't add up and the potential PR nightmare of false positives don't seem worth it.

So what I’m finding is it’s mostly people that are wanting to come here and work and having problems with immigration and visas. Japan seems to be the only other place that is as strict about allowing entry as the US
That being said It is also a legitimate fact that all our information is being stored in specific databases of people in this line of work and it definitely uses AI facial recognition.
I found these two article very interesting

Hotels will become a thing of the past. Good luck to you all. and,
Not only that, it gets worse. I wasn't going to post this here but I would be doing a disservice to you all if I did not.
.
Like Dr Dr says. It's already here, they have just not fully implemented it yet.
Pay attention to what Klaus Schwab is saying, "In the next ten years...
And the other day when I dropped off a family at the Toyota Arena in Ont. Parking 25$ But that's not the problem, NO CASH, Card only. Like a lot of places are going to.

It's not just immigration. Recently an attorney who works for a firm that's suing Madison Square Garden was denied entry to the venue based on facial recognition.

Cash is becoming obsolete

@ Awergin and everyone.
A I does not have that kind of logical ability to make judgement calls like that. It may on some level some day, but will never have human thinking capacity.
Remember humans are programming this.
|

scary shit
|
|
@AFMadness, it doesn't need to make judgement calls. While not trivial work, an engineer can definitely make a make a system to scrape specific websites for photos and alert agents on hits to those websites.

Thanks, Fiji, for this thread. And Ayla for the helpful links.
Facial recognition and its implications is something all of us are going to have to be more conscious of going forward.
And I hate the whole "no cash" thing. I have walked away from more than one purchase because of it, and it seems that will become more common.

Uuuuuuuuughhh

I find a lot of girls hide their face when they recognize I’m about to give them a facial. I think it’s just instinct, not AI.

small businesses will still take cash
having a lot of cash...maybe some untaxed cash is good for gambling, subsidizing home renovations for laundering, travel, food and ENT...and of course --------
others like the parking lots and bigger business...dealing with cash has COST that in a lot of times out pace the cost of using cards.

(Not so fun) fact - every advertising platform (HX excluded) requires providers to upload our ID’s and a photo to match. I’ve always felt uneasy about that
|
|
Work in a Security related industry(finance and ML) , but spending patterns and where we are trigger off some alarms. Facial recognition is not used on regular people yet , just on on high valued targets like FIJI.... she is high valued asset
|
|
You mean high value ASS, then I agree 😁

China, Vietnam, Malaysia, South Korea and other Asian countries have been using biometric screening for years that is linked to their travel and student visas and passports.
So next time ya'll complain about fake pics in Asian ads, this is why.
|
|
LEGALIZE IT!!!!!
|
|
Marriot is focused on trafficking and has full training on what is considered sus throught the whole chain
There is a website that is setup to ID the hotel room a pic is taken in
Watch some of the Border and Travel shows where people are going Canada or USA and the like, if its a single attractive woman they get extra screening. Many are turned back if they can't prove some legit reasons to enter.
|
|
I think it is used more than often, somebody is watching somewhere, I'm always or try to be extra aware. Since the day I started providing I've never used a face picture ever nor I never will. But you best believe, once it's on the internet there is no way to take it back. I've also provided my ID to p411,and two other sites.
|
|
Interesting topic.... I would think that anyone denied legal entry has an easy lawsuit on their hands.
Two words:
Due Process.
Whether one chooses to fight it or not, that's another story, I would bet few would want to.

As an example of what can happen here, the government has made it pretty difficult to 'play' in China. I'm sure the locals have workarounds, but as a foreign businessman I’ve pretty much given up. With cameras EVERYWHERE, facial recognition at all ports of entry and an almost absolute lack of cash transactions (in the major cities at least) they’ve made a big dent in a pretty big business. Used to be fun riding a hotel elevator with a local cutie who’d turn around on as soon as the doors closed and proposition you to make a month’s rent. The times they are a changin’.
|
|
now they have the local chinese PD on american soil ...better watch out
|

That’s why I think HX is such a great place for providers. Other sites require you for an ID verification and we don’t know who really gets that information. The great thing about HX is that providers don’t need that which is critical for security reasonings. The other big plus for providers in here is that we need to create an account before seeing your pictures. Better yet, you can limit access to members with 1+ network so you know that only certain members can see your face. On other sites I can see everything without needing to create an account. That means it is easier to google you because there no need to login. It can be a dangerous world and we don’t know what other guys do with all that free information. I get that some providers prefer other sites but your personal information can turn out to be costlier.

Surgical mask and sun glasses car to door any time I visit now... doesn't get second glance these days.

This is happening across the board.
Persons with particular political views are being denied the ability to do business at certain financial institutions.
Credit card processors and banks refuse to do business with companies like pot dispensaries and gun shops.
It's the cancel culture ramping up. And it looks like it's coming after everyone!
The Social Credit System is a national credit rating and blacklist being developed by the government of the People's Republic of China. The social credit initiative calls for the establishment of a record system so that businesses, individuals and government institutions can be tracked and evaluated for trustworthiness. Think that can't happen here? Think again, the Federal Reserve is doing this right now:
"Six of the nation’s largest banks will participate in a pilot climate scenario analysis exercise designed to enhance the ability of supervisors and firms to measure and manage climate-related financial risks. Scenario analysis—in which the resilience of financial institutions is assessed under different hypothetical climate scenarios—is an emerging tool to assess climate-related financial risks, and there will be no capital or supervisory implications from the pilot."
TRANSLATION: The Fed is working with the big banks to monitor their ability to comply with the ruling class’s preferred enviro statist technocratic tyranny.
Drive a gas guzzling muscle car? Lower score. Have a bus pass or a Prius? Higher score.
Registered Republican? Lower score. Registered Democrat? Higher score.
Been to Facebook jail? Lower score. Always wear your face mask? Been vaxxed? Higher score.
Like Gavin Newsom once said: "It's gonna happen...whether you like it or not!" (see link)

Unless it's changed recently, at the federal level, Pot is a Schedule 1 controlled substance, it is most certainly NOT legal, despite what the various states do, or do not do.
Money supply is controlled at the fed level, not the state. Therefore, any banks and credit card company would be breaking the law.
Simple.
Does it make sense, yes, do most people agree with it - no. Sex work should also be legal, but here we are.
Cash only.
Sure there are work arounds, but unless and until it changes at the fed level - we're screwed.
