All the best to you and your Mom. I hated watching my parents age and get frail. Being private, independent people, they only let you help so much too. Glad you're in a position to help your ma.

The time that you sacrifice helping your ma out now that her health isn't as good as it used to be is the kindest thing you can ever do for her.
Feeling needed by them in that way is a special feeling of a paying it back for all they've done for you as you've grown through life.
Compassion is what most learn from their parents, & when they're down and see that in you, that's gotta be the best feeling in both parties.
It's not easy on either of you, good luck and take care, be that strong and the sweet person that you'll always try to be.
