This work is being done at a University but likely much of the funding is coming from guvmint, possibly some private funding.

Bottom line, debt is now 100% of GDP, transfer payments (SSN, Medicare, etc.) are now 50% of our annual budget expenditures with defense down to about 10%, which is about half the discretionary spending. Transfer payments are on autopilot continuing to rise every year, Interest payments are about 7% and rising every year.
Pretty easy to project out to the year that interest and transfer payments will be 100% of the budget, leaving nothing for defense or anything else for that matter.
Like I said, if you got paid by any source...........just empty your account and send a check to the guvmint..........you're $100,000 in debt to them right now anyway!

I've found it's even better when I call my local CA or Fed Representative.
