I don't know; I would imagine the 3rd world likes the money you spend there, that is usually the case. Unless you are trying to "save" the populace and subvert or convert their religion I don't see how it could be that bad. If anything, you probably brought some enlightenment and joy to them. Just think about how many of them are now surfing - just because you showed them that it is even possible.

Talking about surfing in the ocean on a surfboard, right ???
Well I've had the best experiences in my life surfing all my years, way to many to express.
It's one of those things that you're scared and excited and happy at the same time, all that can come in many forms other than surfing though, wink wink wink !!
One of the best times were watching the sun come up or sink down while straddling my board in somewhat of the middle of the ocean.
Good times, cherished memories that keep you going in your future endeavors.

I agree I've been surf traveling for a long time and still travel, back in the 1970s if you broke your board in two, because we were not using leg ropes and it went on rocks, the locals would get the pices and put them back together then learn to surf the next thing is you go back and the same kids are kicking you out of the line up.
The day of surf camps, the tribes made money from these camps paying to surf the reefs that the tribes had the fishing rights to, if you pay you can surf without others unless you paid the chef to surf the reefs.
These tribes make a lot of money and the other tribes are poor, and jealous the word got out that the watermen would pay to use the reefs.
Drugs are everywhere and they make money and crime around the world, surfing and anything we do in the ocean is like a drug even sex.
Crime is up to get the drugs traveling to surf is not as safe as it used to be surfers have a bad rap of having drugs this was back in my day todays 16 to 27 years olds only want the waves they are drug free for the most part.
If you're flying to get some waves you have money and everyone in these country's knows it.
steal from us to sell our stuff to buy drugs like KAVA
All you woman on this site are Beautiful.
