even as a lifelong Laker fan, I will never forget when the shot up Reed's knee and he came out in Game 1 and shredded the Lakers, but dismay play the rest of the series....RIP Willis Reed

That's when I really got hooked on the NBA albeit a lifelong Laker fan so 1970 and 1973 were rough.
Shows how tough it was to win multiple titles then based on the team they assembled.
