I love Ventura, I always have a blast when I get a chance to visit... but yes, just a little too far.

The Fonda is intimate and close. It is right there in Hollywood, I remember it being called the music box.

Ventura theater is AWESOME!!!
Small venue great bar!
Been there MANY times, I LOVE that venue.
