"if not executed for treason"
holy shit dude...you have it really bad
what is it btw...the treason and put to death thingy?
nuke/spy secrets? jan 6th where he incited the storming of the capital building?
again, the thread was about the NY case...LISTING...like you do quite a bit, is a deflection...even though you seem to cover yourself by saying it's the WEAKEST case.
we are only talking about this case
so you are CLAIMING this NY case is not political?
i guess that is the crux of the THREAD when it comes down to it...is this NY case political? OR does it have merit on it's own and trump needs to be convicted of it and in jail?
so have at it
|
|
It is both political AND legitimate. The fact that a federal grand jury gets involved for a seemingly insignificant thing (possible misdemeanor) is clearly political. But if ANY crime is found to have taken place then prosecution is legitimate. Shitty, shady, and somewhat unheard of, but legal and legitimate nonetheless. AGAIN, he brought this unusual and controversial action upon himself with his mean-spirited and childish actions.

MA1 = leftist libtard

CT by 15. They are just so much better than the Aztecs.
The NY case is pure political theater on both sides. The only thing that matters is what Jack Smith decides to do. Until then, take a break.
|
|
that's about as sane as i've seen...agree best to just wait and see, as always, VS the whole he's going down on day one of the RAID for nuke/spy secret sales
i'm going with he's not going to jail for any of it...that whole biden records thing kinda muddled things a bit
i expect a blow out...BUT a great tournament for SD regardless

@ISOS
You do realize that the 30+ counts against him haven’t been released yet, but they will by the time Trump is arraigned tomorrow.
@Ego
You’re lucky I enjoy your company, but your persona as a conservative puppet is annoying.
I really don’t want to be sucked into these blogs again. I’ll just interject from time to time.

Interject by putting your foot in his ass.
Thay finna fight!

This is the case that should worry Trumpers:
Just announced:
“FOX News is told multiple U.S. Secret Service agents connected to Former President Donald Trump have been subpoenaed & are expected to testify before the D.C. grand jury likely on Friday. The grand jury appearances are related to the Special Counsel Jack Smith probe into the handling of classified documents at Mar-a-Lago.”
The shitstorm is just now beginning.

Some interesting things about Alvin Bragg: (sometimes you have to read the tea leaves)
January 2022: after three days in office, [Bragg] announced that his office would no longer prosecute low-level offenses such as fare evasion, resisting arrest, prostitution, and cannabis-related misdemeanors unless accompanied by a felony charge.
February 2022: Carey R. Dunne and Mark F. Pomerantz, the lead prosecutors in the New York County District Attorney's investigation into Donald Trump and his businesses, resigned abruptly after Bragg "indicated to them that he had doubts about moving forward with a case against Mr. Trump". In his letter of resignation, Pomerantz wrote that the "team that has been investigating Mr. Trump harbors no doubt about whether he committed crimes, including falsifying business records, and that it was "a grave failure of justice" not to pursue criminal charges. The New York Times reported that Bragg "balked at pursuing an indictment against Mr. Trump" and lacked confidence proving in court that Trump "knowingly falsified the value of his assets on annual financial statements." The Washington Post noted that Bragg was slow to meet with Dunne and Pomerantz after taking office and when they finally met to discuss the case, a source in the D.A.'s Office commented that Bragg seemed distracted and disengaged, continually checking his cell phone (allegations Bragg's spokesperson denied).
November 2022: The New York Times reported that the district attorney's office "has moved to jump-start its criminal investigation" into Trump's reported "hush-money payment to a porn star who said she had an affair with Mr. Trump." Bragg confirmed to CNN in January 2023 that the probe was ongoing. On January 30, the office presented evidence to a grand jury regarding Trump's role in the payment.
Scratching my head! What happened between February and November to change Bragg's mind? Cleary, Bragg was not initially out on a "Witch Hunt" for Trump after rejecting his own lead prosecutors' recommendations to proceed with prosecution. If anything, it could be portrayed that Bragg was protecting Trump early on. Could it be that Bragg has some sort of sympathy for prostitutes, or Stormy Daniels in particular? As soon as someone brings Stormy Daniels into the mix he changes his mind?
And Bragg's reluctance to prosecute misdemeanors unless accompanied by a felony charge should give a hint as to what we can expect tomorrow.

Can't wait for the Liberal Media to plaster Trump's Mug shot all over the place. I don't it will the effect they thick it will. a repeat of 2016 maybe? Hope so because Biden and the stupid fucks he selected to serve under him have really fucked shit up.

30 counts
we will know tomorrow about all 30. the reason you get so many counts has kinda been explained quite a bit.
if they truly have 30 plus counts...than he gets what he gets and everyone is happy
if they are layered and stacked on one another, but the key is STILL the two main issues of paying hush money for NDAs, bookkeeping, state of mind and campaign violation? then you have a political hit job on the front runner for GOP
if there are other things? so be it
let's see on the Jsmith dude...will probably end like the durham thing...they BOTH have that bulldog type thing going on.
|
|
Word is that at least 2 of the counts are felony and each carry 4 year minimum.
No pleasing down this one.
Lock him up!
Lock him up!
Lock him up!

Marrisa - that is indeed some interesting intel you uncovered. Regarding Ms. Daniels, have you seen any of her video? I mean, she does seem to deliver a pretty stellar blowjob. Maybe Bragg just has a great deal of admiration and respect for her work!
|
|
None of this is new. Let's all remember how the GOP hounded Clinton on the Whitewater deal (and his wife over Benghazi) which found essentially no evidence of wrongdoing but led to the affair, a BJ and eventually Clinton's impeachment for perjury and obstruction. Once again "It's not the crime that gets you it's the cover up".
With great power comes great responsibility. If our leaders think they are free from accountability, what will restrain them from authoritarianism?
Considering all his calls to "lock her up" and his own efforts to weaponize the DOJ, I have zero sympathy for where he finds himself. Karma’s a bitch.
P.S. The Mar a Lago documents case is way more serious now with strong indications of DJT's personal involvement with deliberate intent to obstruct.
P.P.S. If Hunter / Joe or any of the other side fuck around they should also find out.
|
|
If I watch one of her BJ videos it will only be to go to school on her. Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks!

@NickSgv
"None of this is new. Let's all remember how the GOP hounded Clinton on the Whitewater deal (and his wife over Benghazi) which found essentially no evidence of wrongdoing . . "
I think we are quick to forget that just because someone isn't charged with a crime doesn't mean they didn't do it. It only means that there wasn't enough evidence to convict them. Prosecutors hate to lose so they are very selective about the cases they pursue for prosecution, especially white collar crimes; and especially perpetrators that have access to a lot of money for expensive lawyers; and especially high-profile perpetrators with a lot of money. Add to that an entire group of high powered politicians (a political party) who blindly profess the perpetrator's innocence and the bar for a successful prosecution is almost impossibly high.
It took 12 grand jurors (out of a minimum of 16 or a maximum of 23) to vote for an indictment. I have to believe that at least one of those 12 was sympathetic to DJT. If Bragg convinced them that the evidence so was overwhelming and irrefutable that it caused them to vote for indictment anyway, coupled with the almost impossible high bar for successfully prosecuting an ex-president, then I think we are going to see some pretty damning evidence. And I doubt that the evidence will be based solely on the testimony of any one person like Cohen. I have to believe that either there is hard copy documentation (most likely texts or emails), or almost everyone who testified before the grand jury threw DJT under the bus!
Motions to dismiss before the trial will fall on deaf ears. However, the criminal trial will be an entirely different story. DJT probably does have a decent shot at being found not guilty - but that does not mean he didn't do it. He will be quick to use the term exonerated, which will only show his lack of understanding of both the legal system and the english language. But millions of Americans who are equally ignorant of the law and the english language will see it as the truth. But alas, historians will not treat him so kindly.
|
|
Marrisa - although we’ve never met, I’m inclined to believe your bj skills are very likely on par with those of Stormy Daniels!
|
|
As I said "found essentially no evidence of wrongdoing" not that he was innocent (even though that is the presumption under the law).
I don't support frivolous litigation, witch-hunts, hoax's etc. on either side, but I also have no doubt DJT is a serial scum bag who has skirted the law at best for decades (and that was his appeal to some). We should expect and demand more of our leaders on all sides. And hold them accountable when they waiver.
P.S. DJT also has to take the stand in the E. Jean Carroll rape defamation case this month.

Trump will get hit with multiple misdemeanor falsification of business records charges that broke NY state laws. However, the falsification of business records felony charges will be the occasions where there was a provable “intent to defraud” in order to commit or conceal a second or underlying crime. That is where the election law violations come into play to cover up the Stormy Daniels and Playboy model affairs, AND/OR all the tax avoidance schemes Trump has partaken in with declaring properties value low for tax purposes while also declaring the same properties at a much higher value to secure loans.
There is no doubt that the falsification of business records charges are true. The burden of proof for the DA is to prove the "intent to defraud" part of the case to get the felonies to stick.
Georgia and all the secure documents at Mara-Lardo are bigger legal problems than this case for Trump.
|
|
If this was a witch-hunt, the Democrats would have gone after Mitch McConnell years ago.
|
|
The witch hunt BS is projection.
Trumpanzees went from "LOCK HER UP" to "WITCH HUNT" on applying the law to politicians in less than a decade. Bunch of clowns.

Since no Orange County pussies are showing up to defend FDJT, I will !
Here it goes.........
Phuk all you Libatards, FDJT is the best President and he's my president. He is smart and his strategy is working just fine. He has all the best words too. This witch hunt will only boost his likeability and he will win in a LANDSLIDE.....A LANDSLIDE I TELL YOU !
FJB....Sleepy Joe......he ran this country into the ground. And Hunter, that no good, no account, taking money from Chinese. I bet if he owned a skyscraper in Manhattan he'd probably let the Chinese set up a bank on the 32 floor.
All you libatards are just jealous because....because.....well because.....ah nevermind!
BITE THE BAG !

How fucking hard is it?

Since this is a federal indictment, I would be surprised if at least one of the felony charges isn't tax evasion. The majority of banks in the U.S. are insured by the FDIC. This means that when someone applies for a loan, like a house loan, and you fudge or misrepresent your income or the value of your assets, it is a federal crime. Really, who hasn't done that? Sometimes it is the technicalities that hang us, but the end result is the same - you still hang. Just ask Al Capone.
The other possibility is making false statement to federal investigators (a felony). Remember that Martha Stewart did not go to prison for insider trading, even though the evidence was fairly strong; she went to prison for lying to federal investigators. Making a false statement to federal investigators is a relatively easy thing to do by mistake, and a relatively easy thing to prosecute, but the result is the same - you are taken off the playing field and made an example of. This is why attorneys will always say, "Don't say a word!" But if you are someone like DJT and think that you are always the smartest person in the room, then you just can't help yourself. He may very well get hung by his own hubris.

"Scratching my head! What happened between February and November to change Bragg's mind?"
Very simple, but just took a while for the Dem political machine to convince Mr. Bragg that he'd have a nice gauranteed cushy high paying job, if there's any blowback from the Trump affair. Not making a statement about Dems alone, the Reps got this maneuver down too.
On the local level, it's similar to Lorena Gonzalez proposing AB 5 in Cali, got it passed for her Union buddies. Then left to become the highly paid head of the same union. Both parties play this revolving door between guvmint, corps & unions.
That's the real crime.

"This means that when someone applies for a loan, like a house loan, and you fudge or misrepresent your income or the value of your assets, it is a federal crime."
Please tell me which bank is giving out big loans without a tax return and independent property appraisal..........so I can get my application in now.
Thank you.

Triple stack?
Not picking you out on purpose MG, but you're one of the very few intelligent posters on these blogs.
Anyhow, Trump was elected due to the absolutely horrendously King Obama did.
Obviously, Biden the same.
Expect Biden to lose to most anybody after his shit show.
Such is the way of the mindless fickle American voter.
|
|
absolutely horrendously "bad job" King Obama did.

"you fudge or misrepresent your income or the value of your assets, it is a federal crime. Really, who hasn't done that?" LMAO. Me!

"Scratching my head! What happened between February and November to change Bragg's mind?"
What was happening between Feb and Nov 2022 was the case against the Trump Organization including get Weisselberg to flip on the Trump Organization leading to a conviction of The Trump Organization on tax fraud and other crimes on Dec 24, 2022.
Bragg impaneled the grand jury that led to the indictment of Trump on Jan 31, 2023. In legal terms that is pretty fast considering Trump was an ex-POTUS.
|
|
These charges are basically garbage, Bragg would never bring them without a guarantee by the Dems he doesn't get fucked when he doesn't convict.
Trump is guilty of far worse elsewhere
But it is a bit funny to see him getting printed and photo'ed
Same guy that was famous for his pics when he'd go out partying at night in NYC
This is where the Romans were at the end of the Empire
Bread and circuses
|
|
name me two presidents that gave the american people a portion of all the fucking money we have paid in taxes back?
|
|
We don't even know the charges, but you have already dismissed them as garbage.
DRINK MORE OF THAT KOOL-AID!!!
Also, Trump Org already was convicted of multiple crimes and it's a private company with a very simple management structure with Trump on top. Charges of his involvement in these crimes can hardly be considered garbage.
Yes, Georgia and classified documents cases are going to hit harder.
|
|
No one but the grand jury and the DA know what the charges are at this point! To speculate that the charges are garbage is asinine! Trump is guilty of whatever charges that is brought against him. This is NOT a political witch hunt! The only political aspect of this whole episode is when Trump paid off Stormy Daniels in order to hide his illicit affair with her and also Karen McDougal.
Stop trying to defend the indefensible when you all know that Trump is guilty ASF for whatever crimes that they discovered.
|
|
you can pay money to try and hide those things...it happens all the time
btw...looks like no mug shot tomorrow

"You’re lucky I enjoy your company, but your persona as a conservative puppet is annoying."
LOL Just when you think MA1's arrogance can't possibly be any more outsized, he proves otherwise.
You hear that, Ego? You're LUCKY that he likes you. Life's great, isn't it? I mean, who needs to win the lottery when you have MA1 on your side?
I'm just interjecting from time to time. Some of y'all are messed seriously messed up.
|
|
@Rico. I can’t fucking believe I’m responding to you because you’re such a sensitive snowflake who should be ignored.
@Ego fucks with me because we know each other. That’s why he directed the insult towards me out of nowhere.
It would be nice if you can stop being such a drama queen.
|
|
LOL again. This from the guy who claimed that the 2020 election (did I get that right? Could have been the 2016 election, couldn't it?) proved that half of the country is racist. THEN walked it back as "obvious hyperbole".
|
|
You call everyone who disagrees with you an idiot, and then you're shocked that they don't like you?
|
|
Rico….your former handle was Granite, right? I suspected it months ago when you last mentioned my comment about half the country being racist before. You’re such an excruciatingly sensitive clown.
Do you really think I care that any of the people who I call idiots like me?
If you’re a crazy conservative who believes that the 2020 election was stolen and if you continue to support Trump, the last thing I care about is if you like me because your opinion absolutely doesn’t matter to me.
|
|
Geez. Who said anything about what you care about? I'm just pointing out that you're a typical asshole who insults people and then attacks them further by calling them butt hurt when they tell you to fuck off.
|
|
Granite, you were always hypersensitive. I rarely instigate insults. I only insult those who insult me first.
And you snowflake conservatives post some of the craziest, dumbest shit that no human with two brain cells would ever believe, and then you get insulted when people call you out on your bullshit. You’re setting yourselves up to be ridiculed.
Now run along and harass a tranny who is reading stories to kids (the same kids who will inevitably be shot be guns that you blindly support).

@Marrisa_G update your timeline with Attorney Matt Colangelo
DECEMBER 5, 2022
Manhattan District Attorney Alvin L. Bragg, Jr., today announced the appointment of Matthew Colangelo as new Senior Counsel to the District Attorney. Colangelo, who most recently served as a senior official at the U.S. Department of Justice, will focus on the Office’s cases, policies, and strategies in housing and tenant protection and labor and worker protection, as well as the Office’s most sensitive and high-profile white-collar investigations.
There are no "tea leaves" to read it's in the open but if it's on the News or show
up in a Google search it must not exist, right?
|
|
Pffft. You're a lying POS, too. GTFO with how you rarely insult anyone unless they insult you first.
Funny how "stop whinging" has become your go-to response now that Biden is in the WH. Rather convenient, don't you think?
And fuck you too for trying to blame conservatives for the shooting in Tennessee. The only person to blame is the actual murderer, you asshole.
|
|
* "stop whining"* Yeah, I'm angry. That's what you were going for, right? Congrats.
