Reminds me of an old saying Gunny used, put your dog and wife/husband in the trunk of your car and go around the block see which one is happy too see you when you open it.

It’s important to remember that you’re all committing to dog for a minimum of 15 years, and not a puppy. Please consider the challenges and responsibilities of caring/owning dog, Example; Travel challenges, medical needs, growing cost of food and treats, annual county registrations, family members allergies, and 2/3 of most apartments don't allow animals.
LA county shelters are severely overwhelmed from surrenders, and nearly all the animals are being put down. Imprinting on a dog is special, and they are only in our lives for a moment, but we’re part of their entire life.
