In the history of the world there are few enduring democracies. But they are the best form of government to promote freedom, of choice, expression & self-determination. If you believe in freedom, with accountability for actions which negatively affect others, as I do, there is no better way. Protect democracy.

TDS much? I was never a Trump fan and certainly didn't ever vote for him, but I don't spend my entire life obsessing over him, thinking he's responsible for all the problems in the country.

Trump and DeSantis both reside in Florida so they cannot be on the same ticket.
DeSantis is starting to show his stripes, if he challenges Trump, he will destroy his presidential ambitions.

I believe there is a "resign to run" state law in Florida that would require Desantis to quit as governor 10 days prior to filing paperwork to run for president. No way he would do that unless there was overwhelming chance that he would get the republican nomination. At the moment, he is trailing Trump by 22 points. I think he really likes the power he has as governor and won't risk it for the current 2024 presidential race.

Let’s remember that Trump and GOP could have cruised into a Trump 2nd term and full control of both houses. But they fucked up a cup of coffee.
